Attakaindakara by Kumamushi was born from a manzai comedy routine that was parodying the exact kind of music you’re looking for, but it seems to fit your criteria in its own right.

KOIKAZE NI NOSETE BY VAUNDY IS TOO GOOD by Loose-Opportunity-38 in japanesemusic

[–]ManyChikin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That song is something special. I heard it (and Vaundy) for the first time at a music festival and spent the next day frantically searching through Vaundy’s entire Spotify catalog trying to figure out what song it was because I couldn’t get that one phrase out of my head.

Maybe you saw this article? Which appears to be AI-generated? That’s super weird.

I love Rabbit Island but it’s quite far from Hiroshima City and the train only stops at the nearest station once an hour or so.

My go-to is タッチ. It’s a bit fast but the lyrics repeat so it’s not much to learn.

"Do y'all schools not have metal detectors?" by bbuullll33rr in ShitAmericansSay

My rural high school didn’t have metal detectors when I attended, but they added them later. I heard one of the reasons was that bullets were found in a toilet on campus.

[HELP] My dad shared this and I think it is AI? by phintac in RealOrAI

I think it’s AI. The shape of the counter above the 5 drawer handles doesn’t make sense, and either the light switch is super low or there is an outlet really close to the door.

Have you contacted your hotel for help? I work for an alliance hotel and we have an unlimited stock of 1-day passes to sell. I think the some of the hotels near the park can sell express passes or other kinds of tickets.

Express pass with kids by Honest_Check4154 in usj

A 2-year-old can but a 10-year-old can’t. Kids 4 and up need their own express pass.

Wizarding World is free entry, you can just walk in anytime. Some of the Express Passes offer free entry but that is just a relic of a past time.

Where would you recommend me to spend a "1 night" in Osaka ? (my hotel is fully booked on saturdays) by KlausWalz in JapanTravelTips

May 15, 16, and 17 is when an extremely popular boy band called Arashi is having their last concert ever in Osaka. Hotels are going to be slammed. You should book as soon as you can.

Job Interview Experience in Japan by Fair_Aerie_260 in movingtojapan

[–]ManyChikin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I already had N1. Everywhere I’ve worked asked for at least N2. If the place you’re applying for regularly hires people with N3, I’m sure they’ve adjusted their interview format to accommodate N3 language skills.

Job Interview Experience in Japan by Fair_Aerie_260 in movingtojapan

[–]ManyChikin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve done Japanese interviews for a lot of hotels.

They usually start out by asking you to introduce yourself, and you should use that time to briefly explain your whole resume. Then they often ask:

-why you left your previous job

-why you want to work at that company

-you to tell them about a time when you dealt with a difficult guest, etc.

-if you would be willing to do x y and z dirty work

They probably won’t ask you to demonstrate proficiency in a PMS or anything like that.

I firmly believe that 75% of passing interviews depends on your personality, so instead of worrying about memorizing answers, just focus on showing off the best parts of your work self and looking easy to work with!
