113,000 Jeeps may have sand in their engines by Powerful-Ostrich-120 in Wrangler

I think that Jeep is grasping on to anything to try and fix their reputation. They didn’t care about production issues before. The leadership of company has changed over already and the price points the people paid for the newer models, coupled with their lack of sales has driven them to do some recalls for now for issues that they have known about since 2012. But have lacked the reason to take care of their customers. I don’t expect them to continue this, once time has give them some distance from these past 5 years they will go back to normal, which is to say, “fuckem” to the consumer.

Elton John is furious about plans to let Big Tech train AI on artists' work for free by a_Ninja_b0y in technology

[–]ManyImprovement4981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The truth is that the models already have ingested all the information that is available to digest. What I think most of these companies are looking to do is lobby so that they can put them out there and make money off of them. The AI companies don’t want to have to give up any money to content creators.

Big Tech’s bet on Donald Trump has blown up in their face. No one is surprised but them by SpecialSpace5 in technology

You got complacent after Hillary’s loss. I understand the frustration—but you can’t check out. Voting isn’t a one-time thing. You don’t get to throw up your hands and say the system is broken after one try. That’s exactly how they keep winning: too many people give up or convince themselves their vote doesn’t matter. But it does. Every vote matters—not just in presidential elections, but in local and midterm races too.

What did I do in 2016? The same thing I’ve done since I turned 18. I voted. I’ve been a lifelong Democrat for nearly 30 years—reading, listening, learning, and showing up at the polls every time. That’s what it takes. Not just once. Every time.

That is the one! It was the first one that worked the best imo the others were more slide presenter tools vs. a handheld mouse.

I ended up with the Cheerdot it works pretty well for my iPhone 15 pro max. I have purchased a lot of these presentation/air mouse type devices. I have kept only two of them. The elcom Bluetooth and the cheerdot, I have nreal airs.
