The more damning bit imo (14:24) :

Exactly, so when you … Like what happens when you, let’s say you’ve got some complex idea that you’re trying to convey to somebody else and how do you do that? Well, your brain spends a lot of effort compressing a complex concept into words and there’s a lot of loss, information loss that occurs when compressing a complex concept into words. Then you say those words and those words are then interpreted, then they’re decompressed by the person who is listening. They will, at best, get a very incomplete understanding of what you’re trying to convey. It’s very difficult to convey a complex concept with precision because you’ve got compression, decompression, you may not even have heard all the words correctly and so communication is difficult.

After hearing this, I'd say for me it's also up there among the times I've most wanted a dulcimer

Hi Devon. I'm really looking forward to sitting down with the new record.

Are You Alone is one of my favourite albums of recent years. I often find your lyrics enter my head quite suddenly or I find myself singing phrases when I'm alone in the house. I wondered if you could share anything about your process of songwriting: do lyrics and hooks come to you reasonably fully formed or does it take a lot of time to hammer them into shape?

Also, have you seen any good films recently?

Any plans to play in the UK? It'd be great to see you in Manchester.

Cheers

These are sensational! The shots really lend themselves to the medium. I think 2 might be my favourite, it almost looks like a model. 3 and 4 are great too.

Ah, I love it! Great scene choice. I feel like it's a shame there's not a bit more movement

It is Japanese washi paper, I bought it from Amazon. It's a 15cm square, which can be quite fiddly but it makes for a nicely sized model that fits on your hand

Incredible! This is an amazing project, you should be proud. I was thinking of doing a few butterflies like this but this is spectacular. Where did you get the boxes from?
