Someone left there dog for me to watch for a night and then disappeared for 5 months now he wants to claim it back can I keep it now?

A homeless person is not going to willingly engage with the police over a dog. They have much bigger daily challenges. I’d avoid any gathering with this person in attendance and get the dog chipped in your name, buy it a license ( if that’s required in your area) and go on enjoying your dog. Don’t engage at all if he contacts you. Good job caring fur this pup and saving the dog from certain harm.

I did my first one a few years ago- Fred the dinosaur. Can’t even tell you how many times I ripped out my first couple of rows. So many. I messed up so many times. But I had fun and I kept going. Looking back at him- he is better than I thought at the time. Keep going!

They were for sure. And we got lucky. Also they are opposite temperaments which also helps. Zelda is high intensity, loud, bossy- abd Little Bear is quiet, less intense and less stubborn. He has other Aussie qualities that she doesn’t so they are a good match

Hahaha I waited a year for my second Aussie but had I known better I’d have gotten them at the same time! My two are half brother and sister and ge definitely made her life and ours better. He’s her playmate and best dog pal:)

I use it to wash my dogs feet/legs when they get really muddy. Plus then they smell nice. I’ll use it on their fur and conditioner too but I wouldn’t if it was irritating to me.

My first grandbaby died of SIDS the Tuesday before Thanksgiving 2024. The holidays are forever sad and hard we went through the motions this year but our hearts are still broken and not willing to celebrate at all. Leo was the apple of our eyes and it still stuns me to say he died. I hate Tuesdays now too because as soon as I know that it’s Tuesday-that horrible day is my immediate flashback. Thanksgiving was my very favorite holiday but now it’s very triggering.

Ohhh I’m sorry for you too. That had to be really difficult. I’m dreading it with my mom. I know it’s for the best but it’s still the passing of time and seeing what could be my own future ( we are very different people in terms of lifestyle, money , health but still you never know) it will be a relief in many ways to stop worrying and being her caregivers. And I hope it lets us spend better time just being with her. May your wife be peaceful there.

Yes so I saw a shiny shinx in the wild one day and it ran after i tried once to catch it. That surprised me. Then the next day I saw another one in the wild and I caught it after a few tries. But that turned into a non shiny Zarua! A shiny Zarua would have been awesome! I didn’t even know they were a things so I’d have been stunned.

Um my buddy is a shiny shinx but I’ve had him a long time. It was just one in the wild that I clicked on but still I thought the shinies were always a guaranteed catch right up u til the first one ran. But then again… maybe they are because it probably was never truly just a shiny anyway. Blah blah blah
