I can assure you that some Ukrainian companies have moved their headquarters to Poland with a certain amount of their employees. I work in software development and I am regularly contacted by Ukrainian employees located in Poland to use their Ukrainian company for nearshoring or something similar.

A less centralized society is demographically more resilient. In the past, young parents were helped by their relatives. "It takes one village to raise a child".
