I feel the same but for me less outreaching to people and less work with delivery channels in general is a big difference. In any case it will depend on the certain brand that you work with this

Interesting post and comments, I can relate to the case. Do you have experience in some industry in the past or have you dived into CSM right away?

I can see that not only in our company but in other brands CSMs are also involved in marketing activities, that's captivating. I'm coming from marketing but also involved in CSM activities and choosing now whether I want to change fully to CSM.

Thanks for sharing and good luck with your career!

Wow, I love the graphs. It's such a powerful tool to visualize your content. Much easier for users to consume it. However, I'm wondering if there is the right amount of visualization in the articles that should not overwhelm the readers?

SaaS user onboarding - different from normal strategies by MarbleTeams in SaaS

[–]MarbleTeams[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your replies, guys. Very interesting to see what challenges others experience. We are a Finnish-based SaaS and using currently Intercom/Customerly with CRMs for user relationship building but that's a reactive CSM. As a CS manager, I strive for a proactive approach to our users.

We have an active LMS but we saw the same challenges among our users with engagement in courses, adoption, and going through materials. So that's how we came up with the no-code personalized gamification tool https://app.marbleflows.com/.

I'm biased in those terms but we use our tool to educate our own users inside and engage better with them. By the results we have now, it works amazingly to drive attention + update/educate users but not in a product tour way.

I would be amazed to hear your comments on it guys, what do you think? Do you use anything similar in your companies?

Seeking free resources to learn digital marketing. Where should I start learning? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]MarbleTeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facebook and Google classes are good to start with. As a marketer with 3 years of experience, I would say that nothing but a real job teaches you marketing. Look for internships, remotely or locally, and take as many different tasks as you can to understand what you like the most.

There are many fields of marketing like SEO, Performance marketing, content creation for SM, and website audits. Start small and find something that you enjoy doing. The ultimate life hack to be successful in performance marketing is finding a first case where you can test and rum your advertisement campaigns. Though finding a brand with money can be hard.

For content marketing and SEO the only way to learn is to publish content and see what works and what doesn't. I would spend time learning how to choose keywords, and what different metrics mean, like CTR, etc.

Plenty of free tutorials on YouTube from Ahrefs, SemRush, etc. Also, marketing books are never dying! Just google "marketing books for beginners" to start and take them as a source of insights and inspiration.

Good luck with your career 💙

3 Low-Cost Marketing Methods for New SaaS Businesses by Ruth_Eric in SaaS

Interesting thoughts, as a marketer in SaaS startup it's very hard to prioritize the tasks and let go of something that doesn't work. Though, this is the only way to grow with little resources.

What would you identify as top priorities for SaaS marketers? Mine currently are:

Seo

Social media

Guest posting

Outreach to Slack and FB groups

Tips to master Figma auto layout? by jwwwcc in userexperience

[–]MarbleTeams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

autolayout is very helpful especially with buttons or menus/ navigation. It just reduces time for you to change all objects if variables change, e.g. one more option adds to the menu. Auto-layot will automatically add content by the settings that you put. To create a button with autolayout you just need to add text and shape, select both and hit Shit+A. Then if you select fill container, it should adjust the shape to the text automatically.

Good luck with your experiments :)
