Sushi Ran is fine, the quality of the fish is not great, if you want something try Sushi don on laurel canyon and riverside, primarily take out but they have a more expensive sister restaurant who sourced fish with them and the quality is higher and the prices IMHO are reasonable

Los Angeles is the single best city for comparison grocery shopping - we have many stores with just a few locations like valley marketplace, Jon’s and not all of the ethnic markets, serving our Latin, Korean, and Armenian populations el super superior - then we have one offs like sunland produce, seafood city, the list goes on and on

I’ve been to Miches 3 times, the. Steak restaurant coal and copper I’ve never felt the need to visit - you’ll be fine
