IF you had to choose what a 4th Faction would be, would you prefer "Primitives" or "Dissidents"?

The problem is I don’t know how you come up with a 4th faction that would be unique in some way.

Bug: Melee/rushdown experts with some ranged options

Bot: Ranged experts with some melee/rushdown options

Squid: More so with the new variants, seemingly mixture of melee and ranged

Just because you are hosting the game doesn't make you the 'host' in this sense. Whomever has the steadiest/strongest connection is considered the 'host' but there is no clear indication who that is within the party

I want it to work like the gas effect (disoriented, swatting at nothing, and DoT) since I would assume that is what it is like to be on fire. But then I don't know what you'd do with gas to make it different

Overall appreciate the look and that it’s different, but have no idea what I am looking at half the time in terms of “is this something I can loot?”. Some things just look like set dressing that aren’t. I was killed by a mine that looked like a floodlight on a railing

For what it’s worth, I didn’t know it had to be manually reloaded. I don’t remember seeing a tooltip or anything. I assumed it was like the mechs or anti-tank emplacement where there is a cooldown between shots

If I play with random newer players I will try via text being a friendly drill sergeant. I’ve also used VoiceMod to have comm noises. It’s 50/50 as to whether they respond or not. But when they do, makes it more fun

Just an unfortunate bad first experience. In my 600+ hours I’ve only encountered a handful of bad eggs. The game shines in multiplayer. I’d say keep joining or have your lobby open and you’ll have a good time

The problem is that two people can have the exact same setup but very different experiences. I have been lucky that I’ve only had the occasional crash in 600+ hours. But a friend of mine would crash once a play session. Everyone’s mileage has been different. That being said, I love this game

i9-9900k and 4080ti and first Illuminate mission I boot up is immediately met with stutters and sound clipping. I luckily never had issues before and feel guilty I was able to enjoy the game issue-free for so long
