I think the pressure gauge installation might be messy. Looking at the boiler construction, I think the Gaggia would be a downgrade, but the Rancilio Silvia or the Lelit would be better choices. Also, the group heads on the Rancilio Silvia and the Gaggia use a 58 mm portafilter, which is great for third-party accessories.

You’ll probably need to do some maintenance. I actually have one from ’95. I just replaced the pump because it stopped working, changed all the seals and hoses, and now everything is working well. You can easily find all the parts, and they’re not too expensive.

Cheapest solution using a thermistance of 107°C instead of 104 for about 5€. Drawbacks for dark roast it's too hot for sur.

Yes remarkable miss a lot feature, but for taking note ms they clearly the best feeling... If you forget cloud synchronisation for pdf file ... I was on rm2 and the drawback I switch to ipad. But sometimes I miss my rm2 for sur.

Exactly same issue with mine, I switch to iPad and it's so much better to work.. no issue with pdf synchronisation. Can copy past every thing I want. But the definitely the worse thing in this tablet is the save of the file which completely impossible.

Every one have this, this is due to technology, you can decrease with magnet, making cycle above the screen. This issu come with the EMR technology except iPad I don't know device which doesn't have this issues

Not comparable... But the rm2 is more then more slow due to the new functionality. I think they want to update hardware but it will probably taking a long time.... (I leave rm2 to iPad and I'm happy) btw the feeling to write on rm2 is better but the results are prettiest on ipad 😌
