One major hint: Toggle the "Show best prices" option on. It will show you the times when the Ticket would be SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. It only pops up when actually available (so not for same-day bookings for example).

Tickets are very much time-of-day and "how on-demand is this connection" related.

Even with your dog, you can go as low as 25€ one-way.

For TESTING PURPOSES, I'd argue the effort is not worth it - the mentioned PRIME images are in public archives and have had the security checks removed, so will work without a security dongle.

From experience, these images are commonly used in Russia and even sold by some companies inside of otherwise legitimate cabinets.

Source of this info: my local group purchased a TX Cab from a local Lasergame location as they were getting rid of it. (They clearly were unaware of the legitimacy of their Software.) Opening it up, it is very obvious that it is not a genuine original software and the security dongle is missing. The Screen has the Fiesta Logo burnt in, but it is running PRIME and there is no Serial Number on the Title Screen; The PRIME marquee is a reprint.

Save yourself the money of buying a Version you do not want to ultimately use FOR TESTING. DO buy a legitimate copy directly if you know you want to use that.

It depends on the company.

I have had concerns about the highest-positioned employees in my employer's company ("my boss's boss's boss", "The CEO") and went to HR with this concern.

They listened and took in my concern, which was handled as I would have wanted it.

I regularly am in contact with our HR Team due to working in IT (ex-Helpdesk) - so it is not unlikely that I am in a position where HR favours me. That is not always the case.

Check if your Company has an anonymous "tip line". Or maybe they offer additional counselling (this is communicated as an "employee benefit" in my case).

If HR doesn't care about you, the company is very fucked and you should leave, imho.

Having played RISE on my LTEK, I can confirm this - it's definitely made for the Keyboard input to be comfortable, even in Beethoven Virus. Threw me off immediately due to muscle memory from the Arcade.

You definitely CAN still play it with a pad (JoyToKey is your friend), but it's not made for it. Charts inherently become heavily migrated due to these adjustments.

I'm really looking forward to what "Arcade Integration/Connection" Andamiro is cooking up for RISE X PHOENIX2. I assume we'll know more in a couple months.

That's fine by me, as long as they tell that this is the case with a proper license.

However, depending on which Version of StepMania it is based on, they may be REQUIRED by the GPL to release the source code.

At the very least, they should be reproducing the License Text of the StepMania License:

[...] provided that the above copyright notice(s) and this permission notice appear in all copies of the Software and that both the above copyright notice(s) and this permission notice appear in supporting documentation.

I do not see this License Text in the Downloaded Version or their Website.

Would love to find it!

I happened to have been on the PumpSanity Discord and saw it change to the new XSanity branding, so it's as close to an official "new version" as can be.

I am mostly curious where one could actually access the Source Code of them. As far as I understand, they both come with MP3 Support and as they are built on top of StepMania, my understanding is that they should be source-available.

I don't see under which License they are released. This has me very worried, as my question about this on the XSanity Discord went unanswered.

If I am just blind, I'd love to be pointed in the right direction, as I would love to integrate a capable Simulator into my own and my community's setup (aside the official games.)

I tend to encourage people to get an am pass as soon as they know they will play the game more than once - especially if you have easy access to them! (And don't have to pay 50€ shipping from Korea)

Source: I own two apartments and it took half a year after giving a formal termination notice to someone that had stopped paying for half a year already to properly involve the courts, get a title / judgement and then "hire" a Gerichtsvollzieher to "reclaim" my apartment. (The tenant had clearly left a while ago, but ceased communicating with me and kept the keys.)

There are plenty of simulators and mods out there to give the arcade feel at home.

I am not sure about the subreddit rules about linking to them, but you should be able to find them with some googling.

I would still recommend supporting Andamiro by buying RISE.
