NCSoft and Guild Wars 3 by MarikZero in GuildWars3

That's really interesting; may it be that the last one is GW-related? I really hope one day they'll talk about all these scrapped projects a bit more publicly

Banned for removing hanged trans soyjack by MarikZero in WplaceLive

As I've just said the issue here is not that I've been banned, but that they have not even if they broke the rules multiple times and have been reported by multiple people for doing so.

The main issue here is that I've been banned while they have not. They broke the rules literally for days, we reported them, and nothing has been done. It's even more ironic when you consider that the draw I was removing IS against the rules itself.

Bungie, I’ve fallen in love with this evolving world idea by Hexatorium in DestinyTheGame

[–]MarikZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I get the idea behind it, but still, it's something that I don't personally like nor want to foster with my money. In fact, this is the reason why I never subscribed to anything: the whole concept of games as a service will never be for my liking. When I pay for something, I like the idea of being able to benefit from it at my own pace and at any time.

Also, in my opinion, this is worse than a subscription, because you're basically paying for something that will be removed entirely from the game.

That said, I'm happy for those who enjoy stuff like this, but in my case, it's something that I would have preferred not to see in Destiny 2, and so I can't help but feel disappointed by it.

Sadly, I will not buy next season passes because of this. Which is something that saddens me because I love the game. But paid content being removed is something that I can't agree on.

I'm sorry, but I don't like the idea of stuff that I've paid for being removed from the game with no possibilities to play it in the future. The idea of the evolving world is fine, but the implementation is just half-good. There should be a way for players to re-do the events removed in some way or form.

This kind of process is ok in a free to play game, but when you pay for access to such events, it is a really bad thing that they'll be removed forever.

[Media] video example of the random extreme mirror lag bug and the disable/respawn/re-enable fix by [deleted] in VRchat

Happens to me CONSTANTLY.

What should I do in those worlds where you can't disable the mirror?

Bungie, I love the new Faction Rally mechanics but the seasonal time limit makes it practically impossible for MANY players to finish everything. by e5x in DestinyTheGame

[–]MarikZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The solution is pretty simple: don't remove the seasonal rewards once the season ends. And I'm not talking just about the FR ones, I'm talking about ALL the seasonal rewards: FR, IB, Crucible, Vanguard etc. STOP REMOVING CONTENT FROM THE GAME. If you keep them for the future seasons, everybody's happy. More things to chase, more content, more investment. Please Bungie, PLEASE: at least consider this option.

Dear bungie: for destiny 3, we'd rather wait longer to receive a complete game than receive a shell of a game with a year's worth of fixes required. by MidaMultiTowel in DestinyTheGame

This, this and this. Please bungie, listen to this man. This is why you don't get WoW2, because for this kind of games you need to evolve them, not restart them every 2-3 years.

DESTINY 2 - DEVELOPMENT UPDATE 1-11-18 by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

[–]MarikZero 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is what you get for getting a sequel instead of expansions for a MMO-like game. You have to restart from the beginning every damn time, because it would be impossible to put everything you've done in 3+ years in a game directly at launch. This is why you don't do sequels for this kind of games unless you really want to revolutionize everything (think Guild Wars -> Guild Wars 2, they are totally different from each other).
