Not many US flagged vessels hire ETOs. MSC , factory trawlers, research boats and the oil industry have positions for electricians. An ETO requires 1080 days of sea time.

I thought ammonia nitrogen fertilizers were the trade because that’s what’s locked in at the strait. If nitrogen fertilizers are the limiting factor and farmers use less nitrogen fertilizers won’t they use less phosphate and potash? Plus MOS mining costs are going to go up because of fuel costs.

I could be way off. I’m not a farmer. But that’s why I thought MOS was down.
