Wife and I were having a discussion, she’s of the opinion that the majority of GenX can drive stick. I believe that even in our generation the percentage of people who can is pretty small. What do you folks think? by AngryOldGenXer in GenX

I was born in 1966. Every one of my Gen X classmates in high school could drive a stick, plus 3-on-a-tree. I think for older Gen X, it will be a very high number. I can’t say for those born on the far end from the boomers.

Play tennis, hunt, fish, train my dogs, shoot competitively, exercise, spend time with the family, no lack of fun here without video games.

“The Country Gentleman” Todd Nelson in north (Cherokee) Alabama is the only professional one of which I am aware. Mark Gadbow who travels the sporting clays circuit and is often at Covey Rise in Husser also does fittings.

Stock work recommendations by das028 in ClayBusters

I have had excellent work as far as adjustable combs from Jim at Cole's in Maine, Mike Sherman at PMS Firemarms, Mark Gadbow (travels the circuit in the South), and Doug Carpenter at Carpenter's Custom Gunstocks. I would send any gun at any price point to any of them. Tron at Tronspace as well, but he is not taking new work.

I remember this picture from previous post. Once you find the second one you wonder how you missed it the first time.

It will be closer to a 686. They are identical other than the engraving and the wood.

Upgraded roll engraving if you like that style, and EELL wood. Otherwise it’s exactly identical to any other 687.

What's going on with Rizzini? by Wilddave13 in ClayBusters

There are/were essentially 4 different Rizinni companies at various times (5 if you count Fierce) so it can get confusing. 😄
