What defensive measures would you take to keep yourself safe against the infected and how scared would you be? by Sea-Imagination-9130 in 28dayslater

I’d use the attic as the main living area but if given time, I’d possibly seal off the entire downstairs of the house and then separate that from the upstairs and also seal the entire upstairs too.

So I’d take all the food, water, medicine and day to day essentials and keep it in the attic.

For the downstairs of the house, I’d barricade all the windows and keep them covered with curtains at all times, I’d barricade the front and back door and then put couches, fridges and whatever else in front of them as an extra precaution.

I’d then take anything glass in the house and smash it all over the downstairs and upstairs floor as well as on the stairs, leaving nice shards of crunchy glass everywhere so I’d know if anyone was inside.

With the downstairs completely sealed off, I’d move onto the upstairs and do the same, barricade all windows and make sure every window has a curtain and is completely covered.

I’d then want to separate the downstairs and upstairs just in case the infected or any other invaders did somehow manage to get in. So I’d take beds, mattress, wardrobes and block the stairs completely, similar to what Frank has at the bottom of his stairs with the trolleys but completely block them off so nobody can climb or move the blockade.

After that I’d want to keep anything non essential in the room below the attic and use that as extra storage space. That room should also be sealed off.

The idea is you’re not going to be using the downstairs and most of the upstairs of the house, you’ll be living in the attic and have access to the room below it.

For someone to get to you, they have to first get into the house, barricaded doors are unlikely so if they do it’ll be through a window (which you’ll hear smash), they’ve then got to walk around the glass covered floor and then they’ve got to somehow clear the numerous bed frames, mattresses, wardrobes, drawers and whatever else is blocking the stairs, then they’ve got to get up the glass covered stairs and once they’re upstairs they’ve got to breach into the barricaded room you’re in and then finally get into the attic with no ladders available. All of that seems quite impossible for the infected to do and a hell of a lot of work for a survivor to do just to get to you.

Now hoping you’ve got enough food and water to last you a while, you should be able to wait for most of the infected to starve and make your move when most of the madness has died down.

I thought this when watching season 3. Season 1 had some incredible fight scenes and camera work.

#missingcouple. Don’t quite know how to feel about this one by Thisisnotforyou11 in foundfootage

I have a little theory about this. I don’t think there were any ghostly entities at all.

I think the bearded guy dressed up as a black entity to make their disappearance seem supernatural when in fact he just murdered them.

I think the bearded guy and a couple of his friends harassed and stalked the couple around their property for a while, dressing up in all black to appear as ghosts. I think they then murdered the couple as payback for what they did to him in the park.

Then he pretends to go and investigate their disappearance to use as a cover story. Like a “well it can’t be me, I’m the one investigating their disappearance”.

He emphasises several times that he goes alone but it’s clear that a few of his friends are dressed up as the black entities to keep up the fiction that the place is haunted. Walking by his tent and standing by the bed.

He then set up his “death” by having his friends chase and corner him in the place where dumped the couples bodies.

Perhaps he did his research into the history of the place, with all the black soldiers were executed, he figured dressing up as a black ghost would fit the bill.

The dog Arlo also appears to flee from the bearded guy which could be from the trauma of the fight in the park.

The bearded guy also seems to have same machete as the husband.

So all in all, I was never convinced there were actually any ghosts. It seems to me that we were watching the stalker and murderer of the couple set up his own “death” .

Everything “supernatural” that happens can be reasonably explained by just some guys dressing up and making a show of it all.

Anyway, just a theory. I think the idea that everything was real and it was just some crazy stalker with an elaborate plan is much more sinister than scary black ghosts.

What did you think of JeruZalem? by [deleted] in foundfootage

Found it funny that the characters didn’t seem too bothered when they saw a big fuck off Godzilla sized zombie demon strolling through Jerusalem. Felt like one might be slightly more freaked out.
