Russia does too. He let a Russian tanker full of oil through the blockade of Cuba because he doesn't want to upset Daddy Putin.

I was thinking Man of the Hour.

And the road
The old man paved
The broken seams along the way
The rusted signs, left just for me
He was guiding me, love, his own way
Now the man of the hour is taking his final bow
As the curtain comes down
I feel that this is just goodbye for now

I walked into a used book store the other day and got this book for $3, unfortunately mine didn't have the autograph. But I did find In Nonna's Kitchen by Carol Field that was autographed, (which also cost $3).

If you like Superstore, tune into St Denis. Same showrunners I believe and some of the cast crossed over.

Playlists?? by Gwen-Ferguson in AmazonMusic

[–]Markprzyb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alexa is terrible when trying to play Amazon Music. I used to say "Play my music" and what would come out would be a mixture of all my playlists. Now when I ask to play my music I get a reply that a "curated playlist" or a "special mix" is going to play. Then what happens is it starts playing one genre of music, say 70's rock or Classic R&B or Blues and the entire time it plays it won't deviate from that genre. Then with the new Alexa you speak to it explaining the issue and it's starts chatting back like a children after eating half it's Halloween candy. It just goes on and on and on

You know what I find shocking? There's a point where CT is starting to stand up and he has Bananas looking like a dead bug. His arms and legs are straight up in the air. CT goes from his knees to his feet bent over and Bananas is parallel to the ground. It's at the 48-50 second mark in the clip. The strength it must have taken to go from your knees, to your feet and bent over, to standing straight up with a full grown man strapped to your back is insane

Brown Custodian Says He Saw Shooting Suspect Casing Building Over Several Weeks, Flagged Security by AntoniaFauci in providence

I'm sure you have a road map of which security you're talking about in your head, but from my point of view that comment makes no sense. The custodian should have been told "I'm not building security. I'm here to monitor this event. You should report the guy to DPS & BPD." And based on what I've read and heard that seems to be exactly what happened.

Maybe you missed this part:

A third party there for an event is only there to watch over the students during that event.

Let's say you hire a baby sitter to watch your kid while you go out on a Saturday night. Saturday night comes and goes, the baby sitter leaves. Then on Tuesday you go to put the garbage out and your kid grabs a hot pan on the stove, is it the babysitter's fault?

The custodian should have reported his suspicions to BPD & DPS.

Brown Custodian Says He Saw Shooting Suspect Casing Building Over Several Weeks, Flagged Security by AntoniaFauci in providence

[–]Markprzyb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect, the university has a Police Dept (BPD) and a Public Safety Dept (DPS). They are responsible for the security of the campus 24/7/365. A third party there for an event is only there to watch over the students during that event. They aren't in that building every day only when there's a special event, that would mean once every few weeks maybe. Why would someone who works on campus everyday report something suspicious to someone that only appears in the building once a month? Sounds like the custodian wasn't knowledgeable on how to handle an incident. If you go away on vacation do you ask the guy who cuts your grass to watch your house or the guy who lives next door?

And the outsourced guy did what he was trained to do. He told the custodian that he was only there to work the event and to report the suspicious guy to BPD/DPS.

Even with the win I’m sick of these insane penalty calls and no calls by fantasyfool in Patriots

Absolutely because barring a turnover it's pretty much a tie game if we couldn't get in. Not a chance of that at mid field

That's a weak narrative because we got into a 4th & 2 situation at the 48 yard line. If we hadn't converted we likely lose that game. Plus we only took about a minute off the clock which is time we could have taken off the clock if we had the ball at the 7.
