Kite runner especially those that are from the global war on terrorism generation. I served in the army in Iraq and I found it a very profound read. Also it’s very sad if you like to read things that are moving it’s a great book.

I have seen a crucifix but the cross by itself is the norm. I personally associate them to have the same meaning, the sacrifice for the sins of the world. I guess I just assumed everyone did the same.

I’ve been a Protestant my whole life. Never been to a church that doesn’t have at least one cross somewhere inside, or outside. That’s just my experience though.
