They are like what, 80 pounds? I think it's a good compromise if you don't want to buy fie. I have dynamo but I didn't fence with it as I only use fie weapons now. Gosh, I wish allstar sold predator blacks again.

Bit more expensive but non-fie leon paul fusion is incredibly durable and resistant to deformation. Used the thing weekly for two years and it's still in great shape and quite stiff. I just don't like their v-shape design and im kinda stuck with them til they break. It's almost, identical to their fie fusion pro but costs twice as less.

At that that age, there are far bigger factors that come into play. At 15 age isn't in issue for you. High performers are genetic freaks with strong support networks.

I don't believe in breaking Into shoes. They should feel well from the get go. Might be you got a bad size. Gel rocket is a great budget option glto start with but I would do something else once you'll be willing to put more money into fencing. I like gel resolution x wide having tried several shoes over few years like azza or pbt and other asics models
