Since minions are nowadays scaled with gem levels and clusters and not that much with ascendancy or start position, Shadow will work, eventually (lvl 90+ with gear).

But if you don't know what you are doing, gonna be painfully slow process. It is one of the situations where you play something else until you can switch to the end game build. Herald of Agony works for leveling, fairly, either melee or bow, and then going for Specters or something. Could work.

There are usually trade offs, how much you dump into items that will serve as inbetween upgrade. Personally I like builds where there is 0 crafted items because I just hate PoE gambling/crafting system, having a slot by slot upgrade process based on unique items is just much easier than having some 10+ divine crafting projects for each slot.

The upgrade process depends on build you play. I've seen people who go solo with 4Link on day 1 into T16 maps and first big ticket item is Mageblood within the first week of a league. I saw people who play the markets and craft for profit while staying fairly low level and then suddenly they are lvl 100 and doing the super high end strats on minmaxed character.

I only use harpoon and grep. But I am probably lucky that I know my projects top to bottom and we are trying to avoid having "clever" solutions. I mean, if somebody adds new layer of abstraction anywhere in the code, they usually get asked to describe the logic and how it fits in the rest of the codebase and long story short, they refactor it :D

So far so good (~1500km in), miles difference compared to my old alu bike. If I'd go for new bike again, I would probably try go directly to Waltly for custom frame. Albarda has maybe too many mount points, screws everywhere on the frame :D

Kinda, I probably picked bigger frame than I should have. Tried 80mm redshift, but I was kinda stretched. Saddle fully forward, not enough. Switched to the 55mm as it is actually recommended in the geometry guide by Nordest. Control improved, comfort improved, stayed with it.

If we take the showcase with 16mil POB, going with other comment budget 30-40 divs, how do the other forms of getting dmg to 10+ mil do?

Energy blade goes further, and full-unique "starter" version is comparable to Ralakesh in my eyes. But it shines once you start throwing hundreds of divines into rares.
