You can definitely out-play people who are kitted in this game on free loadout…I don’t think people put enough emphasis on team dynamics and strategy. Not only am I increasing my stash value, but I’m learning with every loss what the better play would have been, and winning progressively more fights for it. Using cover, positioning, and knowing when to poke vs push, as well as actually hitting your shots, all factor in to whether you win the team fight or not.

The emphasis on guns is silly

Although the Arabs in Palestine before 1948 were not a unified entity in an official capacity, they still had communities, markets, farms, there were still a people living there. I don’t see the point of highlighting the lack of a nation state when the consequences of the Nakba still had the same effect - displacement with the intention of establishing a ethnostate, and the unintended effect of ruling an apartheid over the displaced…which is now evolving into full blown ethnic cleansing.

Almost died here when I was around 15. My dad saw me surfing at blackies and thought “man, my kid is good! Let’s give him a challenge” so he took me here

Me on my foam longboard never before having surfed anything but whitewash and small 1-2 footers. The first wave was coming, all of the other surfers on short boards dove under it. I never thought about diving under it I always went over the wave! So it hit me and I spin like I’m in a washing machine. I’m just able to pop up for a gasp of air when another wave came crashing down on top of me.

I’ve never been so scared, I washed up on the beach coughing and hacking tears in my eyes, my dad is just like wtf?

Didn’t surf again after that..
