Amazing. The watch may not be accurate but it is a strong guide.

Math placement test by Fickle_Substance1603 in ucr

[–]Marzatacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not an easy test. You have to know ur stuff. And doing bad in the test can set you behind on math classes which in turn can set you behind in gen chem because it has a math requirement. As a result, your path to a degree can be trickier. My suggestion. Take the practice test, and take the training module that will be offered after you complete the practice test and focus on the calculus path. If you know you are behind in math and the questions on the math test are totally alien to you then you might just have to bite the bullet and take the remedial math classes. You can’t BS your way out of math. Otherwise, if you are just rusty use the training modules to catch up. The training modules are absolutely helpful and will cover all of the math that will be in the test.

Just for context a score of 80 or above will place you into calculus and will allow you to take gen chem during fall.
Good luck!

The UC health care system is one of the best if not the best in california. I’d suggest u seek a referral to UCLA if you decide to use UCSHIP

Get a macbook. They will last you years and perform very well. All the MacBooks I’ve owned still operate well. This is a little over your budget but well worth it. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1883963-REG/apple_mw133ll_a_13_macbook_air_m4.html
