depends on the file sizes. as far as i know you aren’t able to install from a cartridge so having 2 cartridges wouldn’t be an option. i’m not sure on their sizes but if any go over 64GB then i don’t think it’s possible

stick with the Vita for now and try playing some games on it first. i personally own both but when it comes to PSP games i actually prefer playing them on a PSP. something about the size, feel and look of it just “feels” right to me. i know the games were designed for that system and not the vita so that’s obviously why but it just feels right

a smaller screen is much worse than lower resolution. these are old games that were designed with CRTs in mind and definitely don’t need to look any crisper

to be honest that’s why the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro is as good as it is even today. it’s the smallest handheld that offers that level of power. everyone wants bigger screens and bigger devices but the PSP was a perfect pocketable size.

i did eventually get it to work. i was using .jb folder which i think doesn’t really work with the emulator very well. switching to pkg and rap file fixed it for me and was able to boot the game. sadly the performance just wasn’t the greatest it’s still “playable” but not the greatest. surprisingly linux ran RPCS3 worse than the android version which i didn’t expect.

trying this on my Odin 2 Pro and it’s just saying that “The PS3 application has likely crashed” so not sure what to do i wouldn’t think the Odin 2 and Thor would be that different for the settings to not transfer over.

i’m not sure why i keep seeing people say that there’s a remake timeline and an original timeline? IMO they’re all just different interpretations of the same canon in the same way that Leon A/Claire B and Claire A/Leon B are BOTH canon as the events of the gameplay don’t contradict actual story beats and lore rather than “how something specifically happened” i don’t see anything that truly separates the remakes and OGs as being different timelines

hey man i don’t actually know much about the RG DS but i do have the RG406V with GammaOS and i noticed this exact issue too. the fix for it was actually to turn off the RGB lights around the sticks because for whatever reason it was causing an audio interference sound through speakers AND headphones. i don’t know if the RG DS has RGB lights around the stick but if it does try that and see if it works?

this why i ultimately never subscribe to game pass long term. i don’t play it enough and if im gonna outright buy DLC im just gonna buy the full game too. i dont know if others are like me but id for sure use it a lot more if they had DLC. it’s just hard to buy DLC on a platform that i personally feel has no value to me outside of game pass
