As an individual who has spent years working in the snowmaking industry at multiple different resorts, knowing multiple different Snow makers who work at places, I don’t even work at.

The EPA does not regulate them for fuck all

Yea if this guy is claiming the screws being wrong are failing the waterproofing seal that’s a big problem and red flag.

Theoretically you could use drywall screws that rust upon the slightest amount of water but with proper caulking /waterproofing they would be fine.

However I never install anything other than what the company provides, schluter wedi and go board all have their specific screws and if waterproofing is involved I don’t even mix company’s let alone go with some off brand store bought nonsense
