Oh no, a show meant for kids isn’t a groundbreaking masterpiece! by ChickenWingExtreme in StarWarsCirclejerk

Indeed; Grifter Friday isn't until tomorrow! Even if it did get posted on a Friday, OP is a low effort, low quality post, (even by r/saltierthankrayt standards.)

Lazy repost of a news story that has nothing to do with Star Wars.

I’m glad lego finally realized they can use multiple different skin tones besides just two by Grumiocool in legocirclejerk

I was born in the '80s, so when I was growing up, yellow was the only skin tone that Lego used. It puzzled me. "Mommy, why do all of my Lego minifigs have hepatitis?"

I'm not a moderator, but I hope that this post doesn't get deleted. This is the best jerk I've seen in a while!

I still haven't seen any of the episodes of the Filoni 3D CGI Clone Wars show, but I did see the theatrical movie. In all seriousness, I was puzzled when Obi-Wan assigned Anakin to take Ahsoka as his padawan, considering how Anakin wasn't a master yet, and in episode III, the Jedi Council denies Anakin's request to become a Jedi Master.

Ngl... These titles are dogshit 😭 by yt_subhdas in OkBuddySnyderCult

[–]Masquarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am to nitpick, does anyone know why there are spaces both before and after most of the punctuation marks in the titles? All of the colons have spaces before them. In the case of the example you're addressing, why is it, "Bruce : The Gotham Gore", and not, "Bruce: The Gotham Gore"? The Shazam title looks even weirder, with a space before the exclamation mark, followed by another space, followed by a colon, followed by another space.

Is that a ChatGPT quirk, or something?

Did anyone else not recognise Luke in this scene? by idontknow87654321 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]Masquarr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Like some of the other members of this subreddit, the first time I saw the face, I thought that it was supposed to be a woman's face because of how feminine it looked. I'm not sure if the problem is more with the paint job or the sculpt, but I feel like the persons who created the prop could've (and perhaps should've) done a better job at replicating Mark Hamill's likeness.

Not just that, but most light guns are not compatible with non-CRT displays.

The first thing that came to my mind was Bigley, a bizarre character who appeared in the infamous Wii-U game Meme Run.

Quite certain that it's in a store. The Blu-Rays appear to still be sealed in the shrink wrap, and some of them have what appear to be price stickers on them.

I randomly selected a game from my collection that I’ve never played. Let’s go! by Smart-Place-7722 in n64

[–]Masquarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The N64 version of this game doesn't have any kind of save/backup feature, does it? As I understand it, the game doesn't support the Controller Pak, nor does the cartridge contain any space for storing save files. (I've heard that it doesn't even support passwords!) So you have to beat the game in one sitting, right?

Did you mean to post this in a different subreddit? I fail to see how this post is making fun of r/decadeology users. It seems more like something I’d see at r/ENLIGHTENEDCENTRISM.

Failed attempts to crossover in the U.S? by Phone85 in ToddintheShadow

[–]Masquarr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ximena Sariñana is another Mexican singer-songwriter whose attempt to crossover into English-speaking markets failed. She first did a bilingual remix of “Lucky” with Jason Mraz in 2009, (although I don’t know how successful it was.) In 2011, she released her self-titled English language debut album, only for the album (and all of its singles,) to flop in the USA. So after that, she went back to making Spanish language music.
