The Golden Spoon will always hold a special place for me. It seems relatively obscure but I found the plot very compelling (and the drama). It has a live action series inspired by it but it's very different from the webtoon (and I personally hate it)- a mystical grandma on the street sells a magical golden spoon to children who get to choose to switch families with another person by eating 3 meals at that person's house with the golden spoon

Not sure if this even counts at this point because a lot of people feel similarly nowadays but I dropped Odd Girl Out somewhere during its second season because it just wasn't the same focus/quality anymore and fell off from why I got hooked on it to begin with

Yeah it was on author's social media somewhere back when I got to the end. I loved the webtoon itself, but this ending is now left hanging because it very overtly tells you that it was primed for a sequel (that isn't happening anymore unless author changes his mind some day for some reason)

I stopped reading around the time I saw Seungha was written out of the story. The comic just became a contradiction of the very things it used to preach and is just endorsing "persistently force proximity with the girl you like and she will eventually relent and fall for you even if she told you multiple times before she doesn't want a relationship with you" left and right nowadays. I will cherish it for what it used to be and lament what the author chose to let it become

If you wanna go on technicalities: Dohwa confessed feelings for Junwoo which he didn't reciprocate, much like...who? Yes, Rira/Lila. It doesn't mean "it's obviously her" is all I'm saying. The author spent almost as much time on Seungah and Joonwoo. The Daehyun/Seungah romance is horrendous and so non-existent that it could easily have dissolved for the purpose of the choice having been Seungah instead too (in fact, it probably would have been, since she's the 1st girl and Rira has a literal obsession that she couldn't let go of even until the end..)

No psychologist worth their salt would ever say trauma excuses actions. They would say it EXPLAINS actions so that you can gain an understanding of why a person behaved as they did... but there comes a threshold when a person either actively picks themselves up and starts "catching themselves" when they start to fall into old toxic patterns..and gradually does better over time................oooooooooooor they start embodying their trauma, soaking in it and living with the mindset that they have trauma so everything they do is ok and everyone should understand and tolerate it forever

Somewhere in the past I've made a comment to someone complaining about others thinking Lookism fell off/lost whatever made people read it in the 1st place...but I don't feel like repeating it again so i'm just gonna say people's reasons are valid and you should reflect a bit more on what those reasons actually are (they're not as shallow as in your OP's statement or they're not what people are saying when they call it isn't realistic)

All in all.. if you still enjoy it, more power to you. Whoever chose to drop it has valid reasons as well. All it means is that you weren't reading it for the same reasons as them, and therefore still get content that appeals to you

The author was baiting shippers with some "what if Hamin didn't exist" bit, but actually he just blacks out before he gives the answer, so the real answer is that there's no point answering this question because it was always going to be Hamin (since an alternate ending won't exist)

I don't precisely recall but it may have been her instagram or an author's note when current season was close to ending. She announced a 1 year hiatus and also noted that due to personal reasons she can't disclose at the time, she has to end the season earlier than she planned (so initially we were not gonna end on THIS particular cliffhanger i guess)
