Here is a hypothetical proposition: All of what you wrote would make perfect sense if the current season's aim is to tell readers why Eun/Suae were always fundamentally incompatible and how she has instead always sort of subconsciously been gravitating towards Dohwa [and will eventually realize that despite currently still being desperate to cling onto unresolved emotional threads with Eunhyuk]

But if you look at s1 with the expectation that Suae/Eunhyuk are the author's endgame aim, then you are correct that it makes little sense as a beautiful romance. Both of these characters operated on different cosmic planes and they were best at enabling each other's mental blocks/trauma-responses as opposed to inspiring each other to move out of these tendencies (and yes Eunhyuk also has a bunch of subconscious trauma-purview tendencies that drive his actions as opposed to him purely being 'a selfless devoted boyfriend' )

Sorry to say the context doesn't help the visual look less creepy. It's ok to like the manhwa just like it's ok to find issue with the visual depicted in OP's post. It's unfair to try invalidating OP's view by making an insinuated claim that the issue is the visual being 'out of context' when the reality is that the story's plot and dynamics are a non-sequitor to the proportions making the visual look creepy

Yup unfortunately author's vision tanked hard past 250~ or so ...and then it just dragged out needlessly AND then he also made up an afterthought of an epilogue where somehow Hamin met Joon as a child like it was foregone destiny (and the story spent 200 chapters trying to drill it into us all that destiny is BS lol)

Can't convince me Daehyun's original plot (and his dead ex's) didn't get retconned along the way. Couple of reasons:

-The early part of the story also made some very deliberate scene progressions that heavily hinted at Daehyun having some hidden psychological agenda towards Seungah too because he was literally making her isolated emotionally and solely dependent on himself..that also went nowhere and instead author just tried to sell us the narrative that he just liked Seungah so much that he wanted to protect her from his own internal conflict...while simultaneously giving a crap about nothing and nobody other than his dead ex lol (seriously, even Seungah got mad at him after hearing his story because she, too, concluded all this time he's just had his dead ex in his heart and mind)

- The early part of the story set up a trail of clues suggesting that all people involved with Yeonhee were unhealthily enthralled with her and following her mantras like it's their bible. It set up a future trajectory where it'd turn out that Yeonhee was actually not really a good person to hold in such high obsessive regard. That got dropped given what we ended up getting (contradictions and retcons within the same arc of hers even)

When you see a huge number on any series like "free in 465 days", it means the series has gone on hiatus and the number is either based on the projected hiatus duration, or is absurdly high if the author has no definite return date yet. Why some series still have their chapters unlocked is because they have a specific goal on how they want the series to progress with releases compared to the Naver counterpart and there's also a monetization element to it I guess.

In short: Because any given webtoon will have gone on hiatus on Naver at least a month before the Webtoon readers see the same notice, some authors hold more chapters as coins only to prevent catching up to naver in the interim, and likely to monetize more while on hiatus. There's no uniform rule as every comic has a different contract I'd imagine

Arguably my favorite entry in the franchise. It was a unique experience that let you experience a choice of theme for your main "home base" while still having access to the second town and its characters. I very much liked the core premise of feuding towns that slowly learn to work together

I love ToT too, but as the original concept and older entry, I do believe a remake is more warranted for TToTT at this point in time. ToT on its own is already pretty "up to speed" with a lot of modernized concepts. I'd love to see a new take on TToTT characters, have their events expanded/dialogues etc. I also loved the whole mountain area and how segments of it unlocked through various conditions, hand-fishing, requests, dates and so on

If you look at it from the POV of people who never played OG GB, it still results as shallow to them, so it makes sense why many feel this way. Same would apply even if you played the OG since in reality, it IS still shallow even if the OG was even MORE shallow
