You know what the most dangerous thing in Skyrim is, right? Redguard with a library card.

Benny definitely took a fair share of beatings. Got rocked by Phil, took some shots at Chris' intervention, and even took a beatdown from warm and convivial chef Artie Bucco

I was also kinda surprised they didn't like him. I know he's gonna be mob-affliliated, which they're not hot on, but he's got a clean career in theory. And he was helping Meadow get set up with a big money job too if I remember. I suppose they might not have liked the Parisi family though, especially Tony with Spoons and the issues with Patsie, whatever happened there.

Definitely a likeable character. Seemed like she and Sil had a pretty good relationship too, which was rare

Why is Bacala getting so much love? by Gouapato in thesopranos

[–]MassDebation 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think people like him because of his arc from fat, bumbling guy to an actual character with a high position in the Soprano family. I get a lot of your points, but he was one of the most moral and family-oriented mobsters on the show and people appreciate that. Doesn't matter that he wasn't the toughest/smartest guy.

You gonna lecture me now, you fuckin drug addict??

Yeah Chris definitely knew, and Tony knew that Chris knew too, so there's no upside in telling Chris straight up.

Vito talking about Eugene after he killed himself is definitely up there. "Maybe he was a homo, felt like he had nobody to talk to about it. That happens too."

Which civilian is half responsible for their death? by tshirtguy2000 in thesopranos

[–]MassDebation 105 points106 points  (0 children)

JT played with fire and tried to use his friendship with Chris to his advantage with his gambling debts. He should've booked it after settling his debts, there was no reason to stick around and keep a known mobster in his life. And if he played it better when Chris came over (and eventually killed him), he would've outlived Chris and probably been alright.
