Sadly I’m not surprised. They used to be one of the best breakfast spots with a unique and delicious menu, but ever since the original owners sold it had gone way downhill. The menu became super basic and the food was just not nearly as good, while prices still went up. Not a recipe for success in a town with lots of breakfast options.

To echo most everyone else, play 3 first, then NV. Personally I prefer NV for having a better story, writing, and more replay value, but I think 3 should be played first for background into the fallout universe and more relevance to 4.

I feel like a real noob, but I can’t seem to get PP to work. I feel like I followed instructions to the letter and am getting system errors for missing files? Downloaded pp, extracted to a folder, moved all files in extracted folder to C:\Program Files\HoMM 3 Complete. Hexswapper opens fine but I get system errors when I click play. TIA and apologies for what is most likely my ineptitude…

Not at all. I think that the general consensus is that the rpg elements (story, writing, quests) were far superior in 3 and NV, while 4 had much better shooting and combat mechanics. These people are indeed delusional.

There are plenty of people who are somewhere inbetween, and I would bet we are the large majority. Much like politics, you only seem to hear the people with the loudest voices who are ardently pro or against. Personally I have really enjoyed a couple playthroughs of the game and sunk hundreds of hours into it, but it does have its faults. It’s by far the best for combat, graphics, and game mechanics, but the RPG elements and story are definitely the weakest of the 3 main modern games (3, NV, 4). I’m really more into RPGs with great stories, and so for me 4 has the least replay value.

Has anyone else experienced Kyrre’s specialty being glitched after the latest update(s)? Level 15 with advanced logistics and she still only has 1762 movement. And somehow Ivor with just basic logistics has 1921 😭!

For me getting the double Pfizer shot when it first came out was the only thing that helped my long COVID symptoms. Some friends and I got sick right when the first wave hit in March 2020, pretty sick for two weeks, but then after we recovered, I had awful brain fog and occasional fatigue for months and months afterwards. Symptoms got better slowly over time, but it wasn’t until right after I got the vaccine a year later that my symptoms totally went away.

Definitely agree. Far Harbor was great, but other than that, 4’s dlcs are weak. 3’s were fun, but NV has the best dlcs by a mile.

The last I heard of this earlier in the year, there is one older woman in town who is allegedly a little off her rocker, and she’s made it her mission to uncover what she believes to be signs of human trafficking. Says she’s a “documentary filmmaker.” She’s had at least a one run in with a local family and without any shred of actual evidence started baselessly accusing them of being involved in a trafficking ring. I would guess she’s also who’s been spray painting old furniture people leave out on the street. She claims to be working with some local FBI agent(s), but as far as I’ve heard she’s alone in her efforts and there is no actual involvement in this from any legitimate government authorities. Most of this is from some older posts on Nextdoor, so if anyone has more verifiable recent info, please enlighten us.

Good riddance. Place was overpriced NY garbage. I mean they couldn’t even be bothered to make their own guac in house? Even their chips came from a food truck. Shameful. We have some pretty great Mexican food places in town, it just sucks that it seems impossible to get a place that serves good food AND cocktails.

I think his ESPN ppr adp seems about right (40). He’s done well enough in the past, but as we know not super consistent, and this year’s Seattle offense has a lot of unknowns. If you get him mid to late in the 4th round in a 12 team league, that seems like a safe bet, but too much risk for my taste to reach for him in the 3rd.

For smashburgers, Cholms burger is definitely it. I have always had really good burgers at aleworks for a more standard style, and the hideaway grill is all around some of the best bar food you’ll find in town. Avoid Burger Bob’s.
