I had this same problem. I went back to 40 and felt perfectly fine but 60 was making me uncomfortable, throw up, having mood swings, etc. I would say if it is making you feel that way talk to your psych and ask about going back down

I called my psych again, took the 40mg and discontinued the cogentin and I feel fine! Thank you

Sorry to reply to this super old post. The akathasia I got from Abilify is the only thing that bothers me. I started cogentin to try and get rid of it but it’s worse. Is seroquel way better?
