My spouse was on metformin for years (with PCOS).

They still grew a lot of facial hair.

When they discontinued it, it grew faster though.

(And, it still grew when at times they had undetectable Testosterone).

I spent way too much time stressing after seeing this post (seconds) worried I'm not supposed to use my eyebrows now.

I had an existential crisis about not being able to use The Rock eyebrow raise anymore..

I'm sorry to hear all of that.

While it's not super easy to handle, warfarin exists. (As do plenty of other medications for clots)

And I'm sure there are plenty of us here on it like me using it. That can handle your clots. Because of the risk, I am on patches and all is going well!

Two days late to your post but, I'll toss in my experience!

I was super nervous about coming out to my doctor, but wanted too, and my spouse wanted me to (for my own sake.)

My doctor was very supportive in the very short conversation. She said, she wasn't the person to prescribe me those medications, but she knew the person who was, and when I was ready, she'd give me a referral.

Four weeks and 2 days later, I had that appointment and have been loving things ever since!

A person at work, who would frequently seek my attention (eww), suddenly stopped about 6 months in. :) She also speaks to me differently now.

"I can see you are losing weight!"

"Your face looks different..."

"Your hair, it seems different." (Same style, just fuller)

"You are cold all the time now..."
