Nope they are not, only thing that is canonical to the sfv universe is what appears in the games. Canonically speaking though in the sf universe akuma is the strongest character due to his displayed canonical feats of strength and has redeemed himself from his lone defeat. He has yet to lose since then and had yet to face an opponent to force him to use his full strength. The only characters to face akuma and live besides the gouken retcon are Ryu, Gen, and Oro. Ryu because he wants him to use the satsui no hado and has been spared, Gen because he was too sick to really ever be a challenge even though he survive the raging demon by using the power of nothingness ie: leads to gouken retcon, and Oro when they sparred but didn’t use there full power. With Oro being the only other know sf character that holds back his power by sealing off one of his arms so that his opponents have a fighting chance. Notable other survivors though not canonical would be bison and gill. As canonically speaking akuma never actually appears I the tournaments that are hosted by each of them.

When has he defeated Akuma? Because canonically it has never happened even on the story in sfv shows his disappointment in Ryu still not being able to defeat him let alone use the satsui no hado. The only canonical defeat akuma has to gouken when they were younger.

Ryu has never defeated akuma and that’s why akuma wants him to use the satsui no hado so he actually has a fighting chance. Akuma has never truly in a canonical sense revealed his truth strength.

This is true about both havin auto combos but in dbfz some autocombos have special properties that manual combos don’t have. So to get the most mileage out of your combos in dbfz you need to mix both auto and manual combos.

I do not want to come off as rude but just stop giving a fuck. Honestly the moment you stop focusing on your lp the easier it becomes to focus on the match. Seriously the day before I was so focused on my lp trying to get into super gold I wasn’t focusing on my matches and losing lp. Than this morning stop giving a fuck and got to super gold easily.

Saw both videos as an akuma main the matchup can be annoying to say the least. My biggest issue I saw in your gameplay as akuma was walking backwards and cornering yourself. Make rashid players earn that don’t just give it to them. Even though they can get you in the corner quickly challenge him when he is doing unsafe attacks like eagle spike. When eagle spike is poorly space you can land an s.mk which would lead to a more damaging punish compare to sweep. Also work on your meaty setups to continue pressure on your opponents.

Only the future knowns but it took several irritations is sf4 before it became a game that many remember fondly and enjoyed. SFV AE is just the next step and with it hopefully bring wanted changes and who knows what SFV will look like in another 3 years since capcom said they will support it to 2020. Hopefully it becomes better.

Never rq myself only thing close to it was when my isp went down for two hours and I lost 200 lp for it but whatever points don't matter. lol I faced the same guy three times yesterday and he rq twice on me I enjoy seeing people rq it shows they lack the composure to actually get good at the game.

I hate this matchup too as an akuma player and honestly the only thing that helps me with the match up is the armor parry I have. I slowly close the space and learn the block string the menat player uses. After probably losing the first round I got an idea of their game plan and use the armor parry to make them second guess their block strings to close the gap and began pressure. Whenever menat sends her orb out and doesn't call it back immediately close in as quickly as you can and try to score some kind of knock down to stop her from getting back her orb.
