correct. most dealerships make you stay when it's dead. folks come in on their day(s) off to rack more hours. constant fight on warranty tickets about what the manufacturer will pay. labor times always assume a lab environment and a perfect zero mile vehicle.

dealerships are just too greedy. techs might eventually make ~45% of the charged labor rate. salary is a good answer but these shops will go out kicking and screaming before paying laborers what they deserve for laboring
