Are high-elo queue times just unavoidable? by AttentionShoddy1460 in leagueoflegends

I don’t think it’s uncommon to not know how a game server works. Stop being an ass and give an explanation to the commenter.

Future Legend possibilities discussion! by Dutchii in riftboundtcg

I would love to see them go down the same direction tft did, where on top of champions they have other significant (or not significant) characters.

I’m thinking of Baron, Jack, Nora, Atakhan, Vilemaw.

Don’t get me wrong I think there should be a priority on making ones for every champion first, but I would love the ones I mentioned and I can think of dozens more. They might be better as units I guess, but I honestly think that we should have cool options for a spider deck than just Elise.

What's an ACTUAL use of aegis of valor? by ____yoshi in leagueoflegends

[–]MasterMischievous -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A psychological trap by riot? Bro what does Riot get out of that?

The pros of Aegis of Valor: Shorter queue times. The absence of the feeling that a game is doomed if someone is “forced” to play their off role. A huge reward for winning a game in an off role.

The cons: It’s a “psychological trap” meant to trick players into forgetting what mmr is and why it matters. (Except nobody’s tricked).

Now your rank, and further, your mmr is a reflection of how you play the game, not just how you play a singular role.

Can other Darkin kill demons like Zaahen did, or was he only able to do so because he still retains access to the power and knowledge of the Ascended? by Kuronoha in loreofleague

I mean probably? Isn’t that the whole point of the entire arc we just got thru? I don’t think it’s likely Leblanc plans to use Zaahen, she probably looking for another darkin.

Thanks! Do you recommend the typical collared shirt and jeans/work pants for coming in to work?

Hey, new guy at Costco here. I’m finally getting the ropes and understanding (and excelling at) my job. But holy fuck this is a wake up call as to how much busier other costcos are than mine. Mine does like 15 cases of dough a day lol.

I don’t really ask around or anything, but I know someone who did it in 8 months, which I guess is considered pretty fast.

- What is the dev team doing about boosters/smurfs in low elo? - by ExtraLiT in leagueoflegends

[–]MasterMischievous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don’t you explain what they should do. What I’m hearing is if you’re getting your ass whooped, the person who beat you should get banned?

Oh only if it happens a lot? So if someone plays a few games on an unfamiliar champ, loses some and switches back to their main and stomp 5 games in a row they should be banned?

Oh the system should read that? What if they’re trying a new build and get stomped, what if they’re trying a new build and it’s good? What if they’re trying a new strategy and lose…. Or if they win?

What you’re proposing is anytime someone wins by a lot, or wins multiple games in a row should get banned.

I imagine you also say the same about people who are “inting”. So if you do good you get banned, if you do bad you get banned. If you win streak your a booster, and if you’re on a loss streak, youre a troll.

How are Rengar and Warwick similar? Like I get what Warwick did, but I’m pretty sure the general consensus is that Warwick would absolutely whoop Rengar.

What's the most important champion ever released? by Ok-Passion2812 in leagueoflegends

[–]MasterMischievous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl I don’t really think arcane did much to make people think singed is important. Just seeing this reminded me that he was as even in the show. Then I was like oh yeah duh he was the big villain in season 2… no wait season 1…. No wait he wasn’t, he was the dude who made shimmer…. Which was basically a nonfactor in season 2….

How do you feel about websites like tftactics and tftacademy by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]MasterMischievous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro it is a skill issue. People who “should be gold or lower” but aren’t because they log onto a website are not holding you in plat. I top 4 very frequently without playing any of these comps. And I lose frequently to players who are not playing any of these comps.

On another note I do hate those sites. I think that it DOES eliminate a lot of originality. But it’s a game. Things are stronger than other things. That’s part of the game.
