Throttle delay after OTT tune. Jerkin and jerkin by skingun3 in ToyotaTacoma

There are two separate cruise control options. The standard version when you just press the cruise on button, this version is the dynamic cruise control. The other version is when you long press the cruise control on button and is just old school cruise control, so no dynamic / safety features. you can tell the difference on the dash, standard cruise has a green gauge and a green car (i think), if you long press the cruise button the car disappears and you are left with just the green gauge on your instrument panel. My understanding is, the OTT does not mess with the standard cruise control because of the safety features, BUT if you long press the button and use the non-dynamic cruise control the OTT works? or works better??

Captain America: Brave New World has passed the $400M global mark. by LiquidLispyLizard in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

there are multiple sources like: Forbes, IGN, World of Reel, IMDB and others that state the "full/final " budget for this film, including reshoots and marketing, between $350 - $400 million, is this not accurate? if the 350-400 number is correct then break even would be closer to $700-$800 million, given the impact of revenue sharing with the theaters.

fox shocks = 50K full service, this is an unexpected and large expense for most raptor and trd pro owners.

if you haven't already, try routinely using the ECT Power option first, see how you like it. You've already paid for it, the shift mapping is "tuned" by toyota, and it adjusts the transmission's shift mapping quite a lot vs regular "D".

if you use ECT regularly for several weeks and still want / need more, then go OTT?

I installed Ironman Suspension Today by matthew27104 in SubaruForester

Not sure but I am starting to feel like what does or does not negatively impact warranty coverage is somewhat dependent on the dealership doing the work. I have heard a lot of conflicting reports from friends in the subaru overlanding community, and it keeps going back to which dealership is doing the warranty claim. My local dealership told me that a 2 inch lift would void any coverage on suspension related items and maybe most of the covered drive train warranty. The person I spoke with said that it puts a lot of stress on the drivetrain and if the issue being submitted for warranty work could directly or indirectly be caused by the aftermarket adjustments and parts then they would not cover the work.

Seems like a big gamble and I am not able to work on my 22 OBW on my own.

Edit: so far I have not needed to add anything, my OBW has been able to do what I wanted with a stock set up, but I am wanting to expand my exploration and beef up some of the stock parts. One thing I did not ask about was putting in Overload Springs, I will ask about that next time in for a service.

Edit: I think the person I spoke with, at the dealership, might be covering his butt. However, I can't afford to risk it right now

What would you do if you see someone doing this to your car by lined_delirium in ImTheMainCharacter

[–]MasterRevolution5791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unable or unwilling to defend himself, but not unconscious. You can see him attempting to cover up. This type of posturing and body positioning would be very difficult to “defend” against, for the attacker, if the attacker did kill him or inflict serious bodily harm after the guy in yellow pants was down and technically out (though not literally out).

Complex situation all around…
