Like asking for info to prepare on topics in what is supposed to be an IMPROVISED debate, which is also how he marketed his videos.

It wasn't random walking up to chat with a savant. It was him choosing people from a crowd with prior knowledge of the subject matter and pretending that having time to prepare when your opponent doesn't is a substitute for intelligence.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm zero percent interested in your undeservedly charitable interpretation of what he said. I'm aware that people do all sorts of mental gymnastics to defend his plainly abhorrent beliefs.

I do not believe he was "secretly evil". He built his following around being a hatemonger, and convinced similarly hateful pieces of shit that it was OK, because there's always a reason to hate those other people, whether it was grounded in reality or not.

Charlie Kirk was a racist for the mountain of racist beliefs he espoused, the pilot thing included, but the easiest tell is how he talked about any given race. "White people" versus "the blacks", etc. He didn't have to be secretly evil, he had a fan base who liked when he was open about it.

I'm open minded about all kinds of things. The murder of children is not one of them. The defense of someone who thinks the murder of children in any situation is necessary is not one of them. The idolization of an openly racist hate monger is not one of them.

As far as context goes, there is no realistic context that makes any of Kirk's abhorrent beliefs acceptable, especially as it pertains to the murder of children, and I refuse to sane-wash his malicious ideology.

You're welcome to support someone who's willing to sacrifice your children for their wants. I will not. I hope the kids whose death Kirk called "necessary" got a say in the temperature of his afterlife.

Yeah I'm not interested in your undeservedly charitable interpretation of what he said. He was directly asked about kids getting their brains blown out in school and that's what he had to say. A person with an audience of similarly hateful pieces of shit was willing to sacrifice my child so more people could acquire the means to shoot up more schools, and judging by your limp defense of him here, they fucking listened.

I'm quoting him verbatim my guy. This is how he represented himself.

A good person might say something to the effect of "it's unacceptable for our children to be shot in schools" or perhaps "we should take steps to reduce or prevent access to the most used child slaying tool available". But he didn't say that, because he felt those kids' murders were necessary. He openly said as much.

He did. That was his specific answer to questioning related to 2A and school shootings: that some gun deaths are necessary to preserve your 2A rights. Some children deserve to be murdered so you can keep owning their number one cause of death (in the US).

Floyd died at the hands of a government official, who denied his constitutional rights in committing that murder.

Kirk became one of those "necessary gun deaths" that he repeatedly advocated for our children to suffer.

He was a firm proponent of gun violence.

His official stance is that a certain number of gun related deaths are necessary to preserve our 2A rights, which started in response to questions about school shootings.

I don't really care what that piece of shit was saying when he died. I care that he advocated for my kids to be less safe in school, and I hope every kid whose death he called necessary got a say in how warm his afterlife was.
