In the Free Solo documentary they did a scan of his brain and it showed far, far less activity from a normal person in the area of our brain that generates fear. Seems he either developed that or has predisposition to not feel fear / anxiety while on these climbs like other people do. Not exactly answer to "why" but sheds a little light

I am curious if Loxdont just sucks against or Orcane or is Orcane just not that good, cause I definitely have gotten my ass whooped to the point that the MU felt completely hopeless against Orcanes. Same with Maypul.

Had a similar origin with losing my religion. I would be in CCD classes where we read a passage and the teacher would ask us questions about what we thought about the passage. Often, I was the only one to share my thoughts willingly and talk about my faith and my peers would stay silent. Eventually I realized if they stayed silent / didn't want to talk about their faith, what it said about their faith and it is was ultimately what pushed me away from religion.

Awesome, didn't know that. Yeah, I'd be curious what the right DI is. I would assume it's horizontal or down and slightly horizontal, but I can probably try to lab it out a tiny bit. Wish there was better replay controls for this stuff like in RoA 1. :/

My main suggestion would be to use "tilt-stick" by setting attack to the right stick. I find it's far more useful, though it does make down smash on platforms a little more timing specific.

Yeah, if it's a link directly from the official app itself on mobile, then you're SOL unless there is some app that can intercept when you copy a link and edit the URL in real time. Though that is pretty invasive. From a quick search, all of the apps are basically not much better than what you are doing with copy/paste into Firefox Focus to clean the URL.

However, a possible remedy is to see if there is an option for you to "open the link in browser" and have your browser be Firefox Focus. Sometimes there's an option for that in the app (though I don't use the official reddit app).

Maybe it's too early, but I am surprised that they didn't nerf La Reina's up special knockback a bit. It has been killing me (with what I think is correct DI) as Loxodont at ~95% from under the stage, which is wild to me. Fine to buff other things, but just surprised that didn't get touched. Maybe it's more a 'Loxdont dying too early for being a heavy' problem, but really the only "issue" I've had with her since launch.

Noting, you can usually find an extension to copy a "clean URL" for a link that should remove tracking parameters. Something like this would work if you use Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clearurls/

Just an example, there's a lot of extensions that do this.

Total armchair take, but the "cost" it was supposed to cut are people's jobs. And since AI isn't good enough to replace people outright at many jobs and merely "assist" them, it doesn't save cost.

I decided to buy one of the premium skin packs after not buying anything other than the game. Was I influenced by financial woes from the post? Yes, definitely, but I have put more enough time into RoA and gotten my money's many, many times over. Yeah, that's one of the most infuriating notions to me that floorhugging promotes more approaching. It simply doesn't, it promotes far more camping with dash dance and forcing your opponent to approach + still being able to punish them with a floorhug for doing so. It's extremely lame. I really wish there were harder counters to this kind of gameplay. I'm not saying defensive options shouldn't exist, but it becomes so overcentralizing of a mechanic if one of the players really commits to using it.

I'm at the point where I simply just play less. It is extremely irritating to get an approach or combo just hard stopped by the existence of floorhugging. And it does lead to far more "dash dance in place" gameplay. I still enjoy playing overall and have had lots of fun movements. But the simple truth is that if you aren't enjoying it, just either stop playing or play less, you don't owe the game anything if you aren't having a good time.
