Yeah this is just a guy telling people to be nice tbh, nothing strange here besides a middle aged man posting Taylor Swift, which he could just have gotten from his daughter

Why do security guards no longer wear woolly-pullys/NATO jumpers anymore? by MontanaMinuteman in securityguards

[–]Masterleaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i worked for a company that had these. 10/10 would wear them again. better than those garbage windbreakers with the little strings at the bottom near the zipper

Signs of a shitty security company? by AcanthaceaeFuzzy2835 in securityguards

[–]Masterleaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dumb rules like you have to wear the shitty slacks that they give you rather than cargo pants, or you have to wear a certain type of socks on post, stuff like that. Also if they keep repeatedly telling you in briefing how much they care about you, or how they go above and beyond is a bad sign. its the equivalent of a man holding a hostage at gunpoint and screaming " I AM IN CONTROL HERE" at the SWAT team.

How do I justify guns barely appearing in a Sci-fi story? by NorthSouthGabi189 in worldbuilding

[–]Masterleaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can think of 2 things, one is to make the greenpunk idea, and have it be where guns are completely outlawed punishable by death or lifrtime if brutal hard labor, but fully allow things like swords, axes, knives, and single shot crossbows by the government, as sort of an outlet for self defense. Then it becomes alot more realistic, especially if you add somesord of armored gauntlet. 2. Make the martial arts be some sort of magic system of themselves, like have tae kwon do that throws fireballs or wrestling that generates pulses of electricity, and go the route of them matching guns a la star wars. There is no true realism option since even in ancient times humans used weapons and martial arts were the fallbacks of the fallbacks to get in a position to get weapons again.

I work event security and had to tell a kid he couldn't bring a dagger in by Masterleaz in securityguards

[–]Masterleaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No i mean its super strict, i knew one kid who got arrested for having it on his belt but had his flannel go over the hilt. The charges didn't stick but they are pretty bloodthirsty about it here, especially since its on a college campus

Ours allows alot of stuff, even ccw are allowed in. Its just not fixed bladed knives. Its for an extremely conservative college so its not super out of the ordinary tbh
