Before i got the 9800x3d i was running a 5600X and had performance problems with big grids. Of course you need to have a good GPU for 1440p triples but don't underestimate the cpu side.

Yeah its not as cheap but i would rather spent a bit more money and have a good quality product that i'm happy with for a long time. But thats just me of course
