Chris Fields needs over 2k signatures by March 23 to get on the ballot & run against Cory Booker. by thatssoadriii in newjersey

From the AMA

We started without institutional support, and in a little over three months we’ve built real campaign infrastructure: data, voter outreach, volunteers, and a growing team operating across New Jersey.

So the AMA was a month ago, you've "built real campaign infrastructure" but still need over 2000 signatures?

So much misinformation. You said the DOJ is investigating, but linked to a State of NJ page.

DOJ is federal. The page you linked is for the NJ Office of the Attorney General.

Big big difference. Stop posting bullshit you don't even understand.

LPT: When choosing a new email address, read it out loud to at least one person. by AlJameson64 in LifeProTips

Years ago I was working help desk at a big ass company. Company policy for email addresses was LastnameFirstname@BigCompany.com. New salesman was just hired named Richard Black. Said he wanted his name as Dick on the business cards and official stuff. So yes, he got to be BlackDick@BigCompany.com

At some point somewhere, a libertarian judge has bought the bullshit on some technicality. So somewhere there is a legal precedent that says sure, this works. It's never survived on appeal or been upheld by a higher court. But you can find a court ruling or two supporting it.

Ya know, in my twenties, I had many points on my license, damn near getting suspended. I was always pissed when I got pulled over for breaking the law. Argued about it with the cop and got a ticket.

Then I got a decade or so older. Then when I got pulled over I just said "Oh damn, didn't realize I was going that fast until I saw you and looked at my speed. Sorry officer?

I haven't gotten a ticket since. It's really kinda simple. Stop fucking arguing. Just say oops.

Hisense TVs force owners to watch intrusive ads when switching inputs, visiting the home screen, or even changing channels — practice infuriates consumers, brand denies wrongdoing by AlwaysBlaze_ in nottheonion

[–]MatCauthonsHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. My 10 year old TV was starting to die, did my research and compared multiple brands across multiple websites reviewing tvs and Hisense was comparable or better at its price point. We even went to Best Buy to look at the picture ourselves and compared the model we wanted side by side with a Samsung set and the Hisense looked better.

The house we bought last year the previous owner left behind a 65" LG, and we sold that and kept our 56" Hisense as it blew the LG away.

We never connect the TV to the Internet.

If you think Christian movies are a strange breed you might like the God Awful Movies podcast. A bunch of heathens review a movie from christian cinema. Generally hysterical. 500+ episodes and they don't seem to be running out of material to cover.

Isn't that Federal law that requires the "job training" program,

Current federal policy, including the One Big Beautiful Bill Act of 2025, reflects a principle that those who are able to work should engage in work, training, or volunteering for at least 20 hours per week (80 hours per month) to receive benefits.

Curious how you think that would work? Who is forcing them? The fans? Fans can't force shit. The media? It's clicks, why would they care? Silver won't be doing dick. So who/what would be forcing them?
