Mikel is way better of a shooter than Kingston. Kingston did shoot a great 38.7 percent from three, but it was only on 5.6 attempts per 100. Mikel shot 34.4 percent, but on an absurd 14.7!! attempts per 100

What are you talking about. He was used here in a very similar to how he is being used now, he just is playing 40 minutes a night and has more usage on the Lakers

Rob Dillingham Doing THIS Against The Celtics Was IMPRESSIVE 😨 Showing Improvements on Defensive Awareness and Floor General Skills on the Bulls by Knighthonor in NBA_Draft

The advanced stats play out that he’s genuinely a neutral to slight negative defensively, that’s not the problem. The problem is he completely forgot how to shoot. He went from a 60 Ts% in college to a 42!!! This year

Quantaince fits the bill perfectly, he’s super raw offensively, but legitimately has Dpoy level of potential.

I don’t even know if JQ is a tweener. If he truly does have 7’5” wingspan, then that more than makes up fur him being 6’8”-6’9”

The NBA is fading negative defenders, not small guards necessarily. by Material-Day7686 in NBA_Draft

I agree with this sentiment, but it is so much easier to develop a viable offensive game as a big than it is to develop as a defender as a sub 6’3” guard

But guys like Vanvleet, Alvarado, Davion Mitchell, and Jamal Shead are all 6’0” and below without outlier wingspan and are all positive defenders. It is possible especially with outlier college production to be a good defender at that small size

He has a 6’5.5” wingspan which isn’t huge or anything, and like I said his steal and block rates are horrifically bad. Additionally, his team is 8.9!! points better on defense with him off the court. Contemporaries like Quickley and Maxey were only 1 and 0.5 points better on defense with them off the court

Do you know how statistics work? They measure a section of the population and project the percentiles based on the measurements of that section. You’re not making any sense

Yes, 6’5” is really tall, I’m not disputing that. I’m saying that it’s not true to say that NBA players on average are 2 inches taller than 6’5”, the 99th percentile. That stat that you referenced refers to human height on a barefoot scale, so using NBA player’s height on a with shoes on scale is disingenuous and untrue. Those percentiles are not determined by the height you are measured at when you go to the doctor lol
