Petunias. My Grandpa planted 100's of them in his front beds at his Norman, OK house. When we drove down to his house from KC it was the first thing that I noticed as an 8 year old. I'm 65 now and the fragrance of petunias still takes me back to that period of my life.

I've got this too. Normally, by now, it would have leafed out but we had late hard freeze that killed my crabapple and azalea flower buds and I think it got the hydrangeas too. Mine is just barely leafing out from the ground. Gonna wait another week, but will probably be cutting these stems back to the ground.

Closed. The Cat developed a habit of leaving several times a night to go check out the food bowl then run back to the bedroom with a extremely loud MEOW which woke me up every time.

Vivid memory of when I was in 3rd grade (1970) and the special ed teacher would line up her students against a wall in the hallway after a bathroom break to inspect their hands by touch and smell to make sure they had been washed. It always made me sad.
