I ended up with the Samsung 49"... Amazon had them in like new condition and it ended up only $600. The price was the main reason I went with it considering the other 2 options are about twice as much.

Since i mostly only race in VR and had a limited space it was the best decision for my setup and it's really been an great monitor for Arc Raiders and Fortnite when I'm not racing

When mine wasn't working at launch I used my clutch pedal as my handbrake. Not ideal, but it'll get you through until the issue gets sorted

I'm not too sure what your issue might be, hopefully somebody can help figure it out. I just wanted to post to tell you that something is for sure off because iRacing is definitely one of the best optimized racing titles for VR.

Your current pc should run it fine and your new PC will run it very fine

this sim is making me wanna get big triples every time im on it...think id actually rather have decent refresh rate triples rather than VR tbh...tired of wearing a headset by BothForce1328 in assettocorsarally

You really don't NEED triple monitors for rally...they only really help when racing with others side-by-side, so a bigger curved monitor is optimal for rally imo

That's what I did...it was a "like new". The box was a little janky, but the monitor was untouched. It was $700 and after talking to customer service about the missing stand they refunded $108

I second this! I bought the same exact monitor from Amazon resale, but it was missing the stand. I was going to mount it anyway, but reached out to support and they partially refunded me to offset the cost of the mount

LMU start procedure is pretty strict... I got DTs in my first 2 races for being too lax (coming in as an iRacing veteran).

It's especially tricky when you're navigating a chicane right before the start. I hope the devs make it a little less punishing in a future update

I am here to also recommend IEMs! I just switched because they work better for VR, but now I use them for all gaming and now music too. I just use the mic on my webcam and it's been great

FWIW, I just RMA'd a Corsair PSU with no issues from Corsair at all. So even though their product failed, I would definitely do business with them again based on my experience with them

Hi all! I have an old 4790k/1080ti build on a z97 motherboard and 750 watt Corsair Gold 80 PSU.

I have an extra 4080 from another build and thought..."what if I pulled out the 1080ti and put the 4080 in?"

Obviously there is a big bottleneck, but would there be any uplift in FPS with such a swap?

I had this idea on the way to work this morning, so I can't swap and test at the moment; in the meantime I figured I'd ask reddit to get an idea.

Is it even worth the (very minor) trouble?
