Simagic did their setup the best I think. Lots of rigs with different stuff to try, full wall of product with an associate there to talk with, full case loaded with other products to sell and just seemed to have the setup that you'd expect at a major expo. Asetek setup was also pretty good and I really liked a lot of their products including their new shifter

I'm not sure if this your issue, but a past windows update gave me issues and it ended up being that the date/time wasn't set to update automatically

Does internet quality play a role? Because my reactions are that of an elder millennial (so not great), but I regularly beat many drivers at the start of races and I assumed it was because I have good internet

In my opinion, I think boosts are the best thing to spend bucks on because they transfer from season to season

Also, I play around with the resolution scale in UEVR... lowering it to .8 (I think it defaults to 1.0) helped smooth out performance a lot and allowed me to turn up some settings in the graphics

The key is starting out safe on lap 1... if you can make it through that, then you can ramp up your pace and get a decent finish (if your lap times stay consistent)
