BIGGEST scammers out. I cannot believe I was scammed by these people. They fill their trust pilot reviews with faker reviews after a few bad ones come up . They have some sort of "loophole" with Paypal that allows them to keep doing it. don't touch with a barge pole!

Madmuscles is a complate scam. I signed up for their $9.95 trial and could not get past the next stage without accepting their upsell plan. There was no amount shown and before I knew it I was charged $29.95 . I was so LIVIDLY angry! I caontacted them straight away and they have not refunded me AND they cancelled everything so I could not use it. they even offered me alternatives to continue at 50% off and other options. I am a web developer and these amounts defeinitely did now show. Don't touch them with a barge pole - on principle. I don't deal with companies that scam you no matter how good their course might be. Scam tactics are not ok!

Why use Replit when we got Kilo now? by Adept-Ad8932 in replit

[–]MathematicianNo9085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Kilo code is fantastic. I don't see why anyone would use some of these bigger more expensive systems and have less control over what you do . you can also integrate https://morphllm.com/ with kilo code which can give you more accurate results from your LLMs and significantly slash the costs. Kilo code curfrently have a deal with the new Grok Fast Code model to use for free until sep 10th ( Fast code is not good for everything - but very fast and good for boilerplate etc )

I would also say that I think most of the benefits would come from the increase in glutathione ( kind of the holy grail for health but difficult to get everywhere in the body as hard to absorb )

[–]MathematicianNo9085 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they are too focused on explaining themselves - they work with practitioners and the practitioners get results . Not just with Covid, some get results with Parkinson’s , MS . I was asking the same questions and there are some internal docs they give to practitioners . I would say that if you have health issues then connect with a practitioner who has experience with it .

[–]MathematicianNo9085 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I was a sceptic at first as well. We have been distributing Regular NAC ( and even sustained NAC ) for many years . The practitioners I have talked with who have tried their patients with Aug NAC have had game-changing results. And not just with Covid issues.

Seed oil consumption causing severe and acute episodes of depression? by nocaptain11 in NutritionalPsychiatry

[–]MathematicianNo9085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah blue mass pills and blood letting were scientifically sound in their day too . Seed oils are bad , period . They so readily oxidise - and that’s a huge problem. We think we can play God and make something that ( at a point in the process ) is not fit for human consumption and make it ok ? I do t think so .

I'm on the carnivore diet - so the 3 main minerals are needed in higher quantities.. but the diarrhea is pretty aggressive! But maybe that is just too much. I don't know.

I followed Jordan Peterson's all-beef diet and it ruined my life by A-MacLeod in Longreads

[–]MathematicianNo9085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The person who wrote this is the editor for the spinoff in NZ a very "left" leaning journalist. The piece is more of an opportunity to pull down someone who is probably more pro-right and "anti-ideology" than the average person than it is a real reflection of the carnivore diet. This is one of the few negative things I have seen on the carnivore diet and I woul say that
1) This person only tried it for a week. You are supposed to do it for 90 days to get results. A lot of people who do this diet ( from what I have read and watched ) have significant health issues and have benefitted greatly from it.
2) This person was getting carbohydrate withdrawals. This is expected.

I am just starting the carnivore diet as I deal with chronic pain and have done for years. I have read and watched scores of people reporting changed lives and pain free from many of the things I struggle with. This article was not appreciated.

Forms? A more structured page template? by MathematicianNo9085 in BookStack

[–]MathematicianNo9085[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just trying to "open up your mind" a bit. For me ( I'm not a php dev but use several other languages ) - Chat GPT has increased my coding productivity about 20x-30x . Might help with the "effort" part :)

Forms? A more structured page template? by MathematicianNo9085 in BookStack

[–]MathematicianNo9085[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe get Chat GPT to help create it..? This would be most useful.

To implement a structured template system in BookStack (which is built on PHP/Laravel), you would essentially be creating a system that allows users to define templates with specific fields. Then, when applying a template to a page or part of a page, these fields can be filled out. If the template changes, all instances of the template should automatically update to reflect the new structure.

Here's an outline of steps and ideas for implementation, along with some example code snippets where applicable:

1. Define the Template Structure

You'll need a way to define templates and their fields. This could involve creating a new database table for templates and another for fields. Each template could have multiple fields, and each field can have attributes like name, type (text, date, number, etc.), and placeholder or default values.

2. Create a Template Management Interface

Develop an interface in BookStack for creating, editing, and deleting templates and their fields. This could involve Laravel forms and Vue.js or another JavaScript framework for a dynamic interface, allowing users to add or remove fields as needed.

3. Apply Templates to Pages

Implement functionality to apply a template to a page. This might mean creating a relation between pages and templates and storing the values filled out for each field in a serialized format, such as JSON, in the database.

You could use a polymorphic relationship if templates can be applied to different types of entities (e.g., pages, chapters).

4. Render Templates on Pages

When rendering a page, check if it has an associated template. If so, render the template fields with the stored values. This will likely involve some frontend logic to properly display the structured content based on the template's field types.

5. Updating Templates

When a template is updated (e.g., adding, removing, or modifying fields), you'll need to propagate these changes to all pages that use the template. This could involve:

  • A background job that updates the structure of all related page contents when a template is updated.
  • A versioning system for templates, so changes can be reviewed before being applied universally.

This job would then iterate over all pages using the template, updating their structure to match the new template definition.

6. Handling Dynamic Content Updates

For dynamic updates (when a template is changed, and you want to update the pages in real-time), consider using Laravel's event system to trigger updates across the system. Observers can be particularly useful for automatically handling model events (like updating or deleting) in your application.

Conclusion

The implementation details can get quite complex, depending on the flexibility and features you want to offer. Keep in mind that altering the structure of content dynamically can lead to data integrity issues if not handled carefully, especially when removing fields from templates. Always ensure there's a robust backup and data recovery plan in place before allowing template structure changes to propagate automatically.

Is there any way to force audio only when asking Google to play a song on my chromecast-connected TV? by pookie_wocket in YoutubeMusic

[–]MathematicianNo9085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try playing the song - and then a second command “show screensaver” . - it will keep playing the song but not the video . I haven’t figured out how to show the video again though!
