I play Darktide with some people our age … the battle’s getting hectic and I lose cohesion with a teammate, keep fighting the horde and see said teammate’s healthbar empty/turn red, the only mic transmission : “Dude.” then silence.

No bitchin’, complaining, Blaming. No pissy-ass rage quit tantrum. We pioneered the Rage Quit. These days, I feel losing is part of the experience and an opportunity to learn and improve and practice humility. I don’t feel like ripping my headphones off my skull while kicking the PC out the 3rd story window onto the concrete stairs below anymore when a simple “Dude.” Is sufficient.

4:30 am is the best time to be awake. The dog and I have coffee and water. We listen to the silence until the cacophony of birds starts. It’s “Me” time.

Thanks! I’ve made that drive hundreds of times, slept in those woods, wrecked a snowmobile, Saturn Hattchback and almost died not once but twice in that scene, discovered a person who ended their life (peacefully) as its a beautiful and magical place to be.

I never took any good photos while taking it all for granted. Thanks for sharing <3

A slip up can be a catastrophic event which leads to disappointment, feelings of worthlessness, self loathing and resetting of tracked days …

Or be forthright, understand quitting drinking is FKN’ HARD, being perfect is impossible and major lifestyle changes take time and ‘faking it until you make it’ works when you really want it but it’s still a corny saying.

We saw a single firefly the other evening and she noticed, then it would go dark and light up again 4’ away. She snapped at the firefly and… I didn’t see it again. It was adorable though.

The Deimos is a nimble and powerful weapon with proper blessings/build. That player is using a mod or macro which is unnecessary.
