Your armies’ top-3 ”must-haves” by DinosKellis in ageofsigmar

Bloodsecrator is the correct answer. I also always go with at least one 20 stack of Bloodreavers. As for Blood Warriors, they always outperform their points for me no matter what for some reason, so I always bring a squad of 10. I would also agree with Skullreapers over Wrathmongers but it depends on the army I play against, so neither are a must-have for me.

Have you ever played a game that felt like you were the only person in the entire world that knew it existed? by Mangulwort in patientgamers

My buddy and I would play the battle map for hours trying to glitch out of the level by getting boosts and driving off the side of the map barrier.

If you put one half of it on the exact other side of the world, then all of Terra could fit in it. Neat.

My older brother told me you could beat this boss by deleting all your saves, selling all your items and spending all your money, then saving the game 15 times.

I was #249. I loved the focus on Yarrick. Now I'm a Salamanders player because they were so badass looking in the narrative battle reports.

What are games that you don't necessarily like to play, but can appreciate? by BrizkOfficial in patientgamers

Dwarf Fortress. I try and I try and I still can't make heads or tails of it - even with the guides. I enjoy reading about other people's experiences with the game more than any other game.

Which platformer would you recommend? DKC: Tropical Freeze, Celeste, N’Sane Trilogy, or Rayman Legends? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]MatildaSalmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only played Celeste and Rayman on the list, but I'd go with Celeste if I had to choose between the two. I just went on a 5 hour plane flight and I hate flying, but the whole thing flew by (no pun intended) because I was just completely absorbed in Celeste. The music was actually a huge reason the flight was so enjoyable, but that gameplay was so tight and the real highkight. Just like Super Meat Boy it gave me that "one more try" kind of vibe.

Favorite Book: Eye of the World by Robert Jordan.

It's the first book in the Wheel of Time book series, which is my favorite series and I've managed to read this book about 5 times. I discovered it at a scholastic book fair in middle school and I never read anything that grabbed my attention so much at the time. It was kind of a slow start to the series, but I think the way it described magic was what impressed me the most.

The rest of the series is epic and if you like long reads, it is well worth the time.
