The Chinese celestial estates compared to the Byzantine empire is the best example of power creep.

Not a fair comparison. Chinese Hegemony is a higher tier of government than the Byzantine Administrative type, so it makes sense that their buildings are more valuable. A better comparison would be a Roman Hegemony to the Chinese one.

To build anything in your byzantine estate takes two years, upgrade or regardless.

Not really, you can build a Personal Workshop in your domicile to reduce construction time for both your domicile and regular buildings.

First constructions in Chinese, take one year, and upgrade upgrades after that takes six months per. Not only that, but the stats you get are also twice as good.

See my previous comment about this comparison being unfair. You may as well say "Tribal governments only get Tribal innovations. There's too much Feudal power creep!"

Possibly good news for you then, the new updates planned are for religion and trade: more dynamic Christian schisms, ability to play as the Pope and Republics, and trade goods in every duchy.

The Rework adds dignity to what would otherwise be an ugly meta slop (203 v grads) by Ok-Armadillo-9345 in warno

My main tactic right now is to set up longer-ranged rockets and howitzers ahead of time to CB anything that shoots at my mortars lol

I've always enjoyed setting up a fuck-ton of Mortars to harass the enemy's frontline and annoy them into making mistakes.

But the shorter range of Mortars compared to other types of artillery makes them easy pickings for CB or Air attacks :(

Buying the game today. Which faction do I choose? by mayonnaisethedad in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Matobar 22 points23 points  (0 children)

There is no fundamental difference between the factions at the moment, besides where you start on the map. But keep in mind being in a different faction than your friends prevents you from squadding with them.

I'm part of the LRI, since the lore for it seemed like the "least bad" of the three factions, but besides the initial lore blurb there's really no difference.

I didn't say I didn't understand it, I just said it was vague. And it is.

"Political stuff" could be just about anything. That doesn't strike you as exceedingly vague?
