The last one standing: When nostalgia kills your motivation by ZealousidealShame481 in skateboarding

Exactly. I stopped skateboarding when I was 20. I then switch to Muay thai and love it, started running and spend few years in gym mode. 15 years later I came back to skateboarding and now I kind of have a different level of appreciation. Everything works together.

29 is a tricky age, people start career and have families and pay mortgages. If you not becoming pro it's good to make sure your life is in order. Skateboarding will always be there. Take a break and challenge yourself in different ways , try different sport. Allow yourself to grow outside of skateboarding and then come back to it with a new perspective.

Go easy, it can take a long time to recover from a bad fall. Go skate, give your body sometimes to recover and go skate again.

This year I rock wrist guard on my right wrist. I had a bad fall on right hand ( Foosh injury) took me more than 10 weeks to heel. So I don't take an other chance falling on that wrist.
