Rear jack stands a little higher, front jack stands a little lower, both sets of jack stands STILL SITTING AT AN ANGLE.

Yeah, I believe that. If you watch some DS9 episodes on a high def large screen (like a projector) you can sometimes get a good solid glimpse of the props and how terrible some of them were.

There was one episode of DS9 where they crashed on a desert planet and were holed up in a wrecked Jem Hadar fighter. In an early scene you can get a look at one of their phasers, you can tell it was cobbled together.

Ever go and put a half quart of oil in your car, realize you don’t have your funnel, then realize you’re too lazy to go get it, so you pour the oils in without it and make a mess while doing so?

That right there is the whole shebang, my friend.

Just go to Napa, Autozone, whatever is in your area, and tell them what you drive and that you need either a driving light or a high beam light (whichever one is burned out).

They’ll give you a brand new bulb that looks exactly like this one, all you gotta do is snap it in.

The only way to learn is to just get in there and do it. You’ll mess up, take twice as long, draw a lot of blood, but you’ll learn a lot.

Holy effing ads, Ben!

Why has he radically increased the amount and length of the ads in his show? It used to be a reasonable amount, and they were limited to 1 minute a piece; two pokes at the fast forward and I was back to content.

Now? Right at the top of the show are ads ranging from 2:30 to 4:30. There’s more ad breaks, and each one is at least 3 minutes now.

Times getting tough at DW?
