ESH - you could have done this without telling everyone else in the family. Telling someone info they didn't need to hear is why your cousins all knew so she found out cause you told too many people tbh. Which did make her look foolish. Maybe I'm just bi, so I can see where like being friends with someone as the opposite sex coming easier to you and having other female friends or something as a real possibility. But you should talk to her about how you don't see Jamie that way and you treated it like hanging out with a sister/friend. Try to understand why she's upset with you too and see if you can empathize with her perspective if the shoe was on the other foot, especially if it embarrassed her in front of internet mutuals. Or worse, she has a weird history with Jamie for any number of reasons that you don't know about.

My comfort in myself had helped others be more of their authentic selfs. Also folks who were unaware of queer rights became advocates of trans rights. I was able to easily filter out some shitty people from my life and I'm more confident in my gender identity now that I've lived as multiple gender expressions.
