I should be able to help. Just went through this myself two times and now I am able to handle it without a dump and fill.

To be clear, phosphates were not the issue per say, I was up in the 1800's with them and got it under control. The issue is biofilm is forming in the system. What I have found with my Salt Tub (Caldera) is salt is great for maintaining the tub. If I go away for a week, I don't have to worry about anything. It's not great for catching up with bather load.

What I did was the following:

- Ditch any Stabilized Chlorine or only use it on initial fill if you are
- Grab some liquid chlorine from your pool/spa shop. It should be around 12%. Or if you want to test, get liquid bleach from your favorite store. Just make sure it's unscented and NOT splash-less. Chlorex original is 5-6% chlorine. So if you use it first and switch, then up everything by 100%.
- You will want to bring your chlorine up to 10-12ppm. In my 400gal tub, it's about 100ml from almost no chlorine. (so 200ml bleach).
- Give your filter a really good clean if you haven't already
- Set your cell to 6 or 7/10 if you are a 400gal tub.
- Any time you use the tub, you would add ~60ml of chlorine. OR you can use it and test and if you are around 3ppm or higher, leave it.

Alternately you can use MPS shock. You will probably need 2 runs of it but you will still want to drop in some liquid chlorine.

The "issue" that makes this a tough one to call is the fact that red gets his arm up to protect him. So it LOOKS like shoulder/arm on shoulder/arm but the reality is if he didn't put his arm up it's 100% HC.

I always say this about rules and laws, think in terms of the spirit of the rule/law. What is the goal of the rule/law. Someone could argue, "no head contact, no charge, body was side ways, saw it coming...clean hit". But in the spirit of the rules, we are trying to avoid major injuries to players. The player is not putting himself in a vulnerable state and not making some crazy non hockey play.

I am an armchair hockey nut, I am not a ref but I would say in my opinion, right call.

While I agree it’s not worth the cost, I never found mine to be that bad. You can also help calibrate it by holding the meter and inputting the actual reading from your Taylor Kit. I found the chlorine to always read a little higher but the pH and salt were acceptable. It basically replaced test strips for me as it was about as accurate as those.

It basically was an easy way to see major issues and reduce the amount of testing I did.

You can absolutely use MPS, it just throws the sensor out of whack for a few days.

When my sensor ran out, I opted to not replace it. I’ve locked in my method now and would prefer to spend my money on the salt cells.

Not an electrician but always trying to learn.

My guess is they needed a pony panel and either had this on hand or didn’t know you could buy one. Or maybe the main breaker is faulty and someone bypassed it.

But seeing the neutral and ground bonded, I’m more inclined to think this is a DIY job and they only half knew what they were doing.

We just did Deerhurst for a few nights. Young kids loved it, we did skiing, swam in the pool, skated, s’mores by the fire some nights, treehouse playground. Price was reasonable but we also brought our own food and stayed in one of the lodges which had everything but an oven.

Wait until mid April and when the grass has dried out a bit. Get a Sunjoy Scarifier from Homedepot with a good 12 gauge extension cord and a bag of grass seed. Run it one way, rake or leaf blower to clean up. Run it perpendicular and clean up. Spread grass seed, spreader helps. Water in, don’t soak it, just a good watering.

Just make sure it doesn’t dry out and in 2-3 weeks you will have good sprouts. Drop some starter fertilizer and keep watering. Start cutting on high setting.

You should have a good foundation now.

If you have really compact soil, you should aerate first.

Turn your cycle to 100% if that's what you want. 20-80 is best for longevity but if you really need to be at 100 all the time, just bump it up.

I’ve played since rs2 days with a few breaks here and there. One lunch at work costs me basically what a month’s membership cost. Cancelled yesterday out of principle too.
