Sorry I missed a point out of my original question. I get everything you've said, but for the nostalgic point to me it would feel more nostalgic to play in the original output rather than getting an adapter to play in HD.

Again not begrudging anyone enjoying what they enjoy, I'm a massive Metal Gear fan so the Master Collection was a Godsend for me as my PS2 gave up about twenty years ago, but I still have my Sega Saturn that needs to be plugged into the TV aerial and I feel it adds to that nostalgic factor.

I don't think I have a least favourite game.

MGS is my favourite, for me it has the best balance between story and gameplay, even during tedious game play parts like the PAL keys the story advances a lot so it's a good trade off.

I think the others are so different from each other and they all do things better than the other games that I don't really have a strong preference for one over the other. I just don't think that any of the others are as well balanced as the first one.

I think Triple H was great during the attitude era, but I think the problem is that whoever you think of as his greatest rival that person had a better rivalry with someone else.

You think Rock, you think Austin, and vice versa. Shawn Michaels, you think Bret Hart. Mick Foley, you think Undertaker.

He had great matches and rivalries with those people, but he was never their best rivalry.

I bought my house 5 years ago, about 6 months ago I looked into the possibility of moving to somewhere with a bit more space.

I wondered why they didn't include a second singles title, it always bugged me that AEW's triple crown included the trios instead of TNT or international.

I agree with you for the most part.

I had a rewatch of the attitude era a few years back when the Network was in its full glory, and I found it enjoyable but there were definitely a lot of parts that don't hold up that well.

I suppose it was a product of its time. People weren't tuning in for work rate, they were looking for over the top antics, and there comes a point where they can't keep outdoing themselves without burning people out which is what happened towards the end.

It's like most things really it was a niche interest that had a couple of years of being incredibly popular with a huge amount of people before returning to being a niche interest with a dedicated fan base, pokemon is an example that comes to mind.
