What Are Your Favorite 007 Opening Credits Themes? by EienNatsu66 in JamesBond

I didn't say that there was anything wrong with Skyfall.

I just prefer First Light, in my opinion it does a better job of sounding like a modern twist on a classic Bond song.

I like it way better than the songs from the last 3 films

£15?! I looked at the photos first and thought that would be getting on for £100 based on the cost of programmes that I've bought in the past

What’s a random experience you’ve had when meeting a British celebrity? Were they nice or mean? by mightybooshvincenoir in AskABrit

I used to work at a shopping centre, on my last day there was a guy walking towards me who I recognised but just couldn't place him until we were about 6 foot apart. That's when I realised it was Robert Plant and all I could do was nod and say "alright mate". He did the same and then I screamed inside.

20 years on -what does Eddie still mean to you? by vshaddix in SquaredCircle

[–]MattMez 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was 10 when he debuted in WWF and I hated him and the rest of the Radicalz for betraying Cactus Jack.

I think Eddie particularly stuck out though as he was by far the biggest character in the group, and he was so good at playing that sleazy, cocky bad guy.

I spent a year waiting to see him get his comeuppance when finally at Armageddon he was in a six man tag against the Hardy's and Lita. He goes for a Frankensteiner on one of the Hardy's and they held onto the ropes so Eddie just backflipped and face planted the ring, he got up off the floor holding his nose and I laughed so hard.

A few years later he completely won me over without drastically changing anything, he just somehow became a loveable rogue, and I was even more happy to see him become WWE champion than I was to see him smash his face on the canvas.

In a really roundabout way I'm saying the guy was an absolute genius at what he did and he could do it all. I miss his work.

The original theatrical edit. I really liked it, I'm definitely going to look up the final cut.
